Conversations With Liberals: Palin's Thanksgiving Message to "all 57 States"

I'm putting up Sarah Palin's rebuttal to critics who mouthed off after she made a slip while talking to Glenn Beck the other day. This, of course, was pounced upon by the Leftists, including my friend The Screaming Liberal.

Oh, and on the Sarah Palin gaffe? Listen to the entire tape.... she
repeats the error twice. And it's not a treaty - it's only an armistice.
She really needs to learn the difference if she thinks she has a shot
at running in 2012.

I guess I better explain it - she states first that we need to stand by whatever North Korea decides to do before she states that we are bound by 'treaty' to support our North Korean allies.

*Know It All New York Liberal In California:

she's a fuckin moron, she'll never win...and if she does, I'm moving to another country

* Screaming Liberal: Pack me in your duffle, plz!

*Know It All: So I was thinking Thailand or the Philippines :)

(Steve's Note: I like how they pick corrupt unstable regimes rife with communists and drugs and porn)

*Screaming Liberal: Thailand!! My uncle spends a few months a year there!

* Know It All: sweet...I was leaning towards that :)

* Screaming Liberal: I figure if they're gonna keep on outsourcing our jobs anyways - I might as well go over there and work and live high on the hog! :D

At this point my dear friend, Conservative Voice of Reason, has heard enough and tries to defuse the Liberal Timebomb.

* Voice of Reason:

I confuse North & South all the time. You should hear me talking about the Dakotas. So I am obviously a moron. If y'all do move to Thailand or the Phillipines, I do hope y'all do something to help alleviate the devastating child prostitution issues in those nations. You'll have a lot more to complain about than Palin, Biden, & Obama's gaffes.

(Steve’s Note: Not to be thrown off once they smell blood in the water, the Liberals circle and avoid the lunacy of their rhetoric:)

* Screaming Liberal: Um, no. Go listen to the whole tape. Actually, listen to anything she says with a modicum of education, and you'll see just how stupid she is. And it *is* stupidity because she has been offered and had access to every form of education imaginable and she throws it away (as cited in several books to include the GOP financed 'Game Change'). So if this country as a whole is STUPID enough to destroy this country by handing it over to a lazy, selfish, conceited, self-righteous demagogue such as the Palin Klan, I think I just might go make things better in a third world country because this one sure as fuck doesn't deserve me if they pull that stunt. But they *do* deserve the self-destruction of the entire Republican Party that they are continuing to allow her to foster. You mark my words - she gets the nomination in 2012, and the party of Lincoln will go down in flames. I really don't want to see that because any country that has gone to such lengths has been destroyed. oh wait.

(Steve’s Note: Like we threw the country away by handing the controls over to the Dems in Congress and then drove the whole bus off the cliff by letting Obama take over? Talk about flushing the country down the shitter….your party is already in flames and you wanna talk about the GOP two years from now?)

*Fairly Harmless Independent: She's coming to my town next week. From what I hear, she'll be pretty much across the street from my house. I'm quite scared.

* Know It All: why doesn't anyone just take her out? she's just an embarrassment to the entire country...I hope she has a hunting accident or something and get's shot in the face...stupidity is contagious and she's spreading it far and wide...a good 80 percent (I'm being kind) of our country is filled with morons like her

(Steve’s Note: There you have it folks. Your nice, peaceful liberal calling for the murder of someone he doesn’t agree with.)

* Fairly Harmless Independent:If she goes hunting with Cheney that's a serious possibility!

* Know It All: someone should set them up on a playdate :)

(Steve’s Note: Again, calling for Palin’s death)

* Wet Behind The Ears Liberal: Despite the fact she's a walking trainwreck the media can't get enough of, she's not as popular with people, at least according to polls. Even within the Republican party. Why she continues to get coverage and airtime is beyond me.

And that was the end of the conversation. Here's Sarah Palin's side of it:

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…

Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didn’t have enough time to do one for Joe Biden). YouTube links are provided just in case you doubt the accuracy of these all too human slips-of-the-tongue. If you can’t remember hearing about them, that’s because for the most part the media didn’t consider them newsworthy. I have no complaint about that. Everybody makes the occasional verbal gaffe – even news anchors.

Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn’t resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.

If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)

“Hope springs eternal” as the poet says. Let’s hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America’s free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

- Sarah Palin

Thanks, TSA: The Hits Keep Comin'

Ah, yes, it seems the Fondletruppen of the TSA have been having a banner year but that it's all finally coming to light.
Borrowed shamelessly from PrisonPlanet:

Menstruating women beware. If you intend to travel, your panty-liners are now considered suspicious objects, after all you could be concealing a bomb in there.

The latest insane TSA transgression answers questions that were raised last week when it was revealed naked body scanners can also detect sanitary napkins.

New York Times reporter Joe Sharkey wrote Monday that he was getting a lot of requests for information from female frequent fliers.

“Do the imagers, for example, detect sanitary napkins?” women wanted to know. “Yes,” wrote Sharkey.

“Does that then necessitate a pat-down? The TSA couldn’t say. Screeners, the TSA has said, are expected to exercise some discretion.” the article continued.

“And what about tampons? asked the blog Femenist Peace Network. “They look kind of like sticks of dynamite. Are they going to ask us to pull them out and show them just to be sure?”

The answer, judging from one woman’s written testimony, seems to be yes.

A customer of popular women’s health company, Gladrags, relayed her recent experience at the hands of the TSA via email.

In short, she was asked to walk through a radiation firing naked body scanner and complied. The scanner produced a naked image of her, but because her sanitary towel was obscuring her most intimate parts from prying eyes, the TSA agents pulled her aside for a full groin search. Not something to be relished by any person, let alone someone who has previously suffered sexual assault.

Here is the woman’s email in full:

“This email isn’t going to be as polished as I would normally send, but I’m upset and I don’t want what happened to me to happen to anyone else (if I can stop it).

I recently traveled via air, and was subjected to that new scanning device. “No problem,” I thought. I was wearing jeans and a linen tanktop, bra, panties, and one camouflage pantyliner.

I’m a rule follower, so I never have any problems at the airport. Not this time. I was stopped, and then held for 15 minutes while they tried to find a female supervisor. I couldn’t get to my bag, my shawl or my shoes; just standing there while the TSA agents kept me in one place.

Now, I don’t want this to be about bad TSA agents; they were doing their job, they were as delicate as they could be, etc., etc. But what ultimately happened is that I was subjected to search so invasive that I was left crying and dealing with memories that I thought had been dealt with years ago of prior sexual assaults.

Because of my flannel panty-liner. These new scans are so horrible that if you are wearing something unusual (like a piece of cloth on your panties) then you will be subjected to a search where a woman repeatedly has to check your “groin” while another woman watches on (two in my case – they were training in a new girl – awesome).

So please, please, tell the ladies not to wear their liners at the airport (I didn’t even have an insert in). I’m a strong, confident woman; I’m an Army vet (which is why those camo liners crack me up), I work full-time and go to graduate school full-time, I have a wonderful husband, and I don’t take any nonsense from anyone. I don’t dramatize, and I don’t exaggerate. I’m trying to give you a sense of who I am so you won’t think that this is a plea for attention, or a jumping on the bandwagon about the recent TSA proposed boycott.

I just don’t want another woman to have to go through the “patting down” because she didn’t know that her glad-rag would be a matter of national security.”

Chalk up another ritual humiliation at the hands of the TSA, protecting us from terrorists by forcing women to remove their underwear napkins and groping their vaginas in public.

When will this insanity end?

And Britain slides deeper into Islam's clutches....

A 15-year-old British girl has been arrested on suspicion of inciting religious hatred after she allegedly set fire to an English-language copy of the Koran and posted footage of the incident on Facebook.

The unidentified teen is accused of torching the Muslim holy book as other students watched, at her school in Sandwell near the city of Birmingham in central England. She was questioned by police on Friday and was released later in the day pending further inquiries.

Wake up, England. Each day you let your country slide deeper into the clutches of Islamofacism. Almost 2 years ago the Daily Mail reported the alarming number of British Muslims fighting for the Taliban in Afghanistan, and yet you continue to kowtow to Shariah Law and this sick notion that Islam is a peaceful thing. In today's UK Guardian there's an article about Afghani Brits fighting for the Taliban. In fact, one of them works as a cab driver in England when he's not off fighting a Jihad against the very people who offer him a place to live & work. This is nothing new; the Brits have worried about this for years, since the 9-11 and Shoe Bomber attacks, but have done bugger-all to stem the tide in their country.

And from this little chart put together at the Pew Center, as far back as 2006 81% of British Muslims view themselves as Muslims first and Brits second.I mean, we all know just how peaceful Muslims are in the UK. And just today the Daily Mail reported that a Muslim artist has painted a picture of the 7/7 London terror bombing of a city bus with angels over the bus in the same number as the terrorists who took part in the attack

And we have all these lovely images to remind us as well.

At this rate you'll have to give Kate Middleton a copy of this magazine to plan her & Wil's wedding.

Missed my other looks at Britain's death-dive into Muslim lunacy?

Here or here or here or here or even here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am extremely thankful for all of you guys, the readers and subscribers of my little corner of the Interwebz. I used to write just to get my thoughts cleared from my packed cranium, even before I had a blog. Then I started this blog page, with no readers and no "followers", with no realistic expectations of it taking off. A couple years later, I'm still small potatoes by most standards, but I'm exceedingly grateful for everyone who comes here, by conscious act or by accident, and for the feedback I get. I've been looked at by almost 200,000 visitors from 175 different countries & territories. That blows me away.

Many of you have become friends of mine and some of you are like family now. Cool!

Have a safe & happy holiday weekend, everyone.

Gotta love a nearly 80-degree bright sunny Thanksgiving Day.

I will likely NEVER fly again...

I've said before that I would likely never fly anywhere again. I mentioned it in June 2008, and again in January of this year, that because of Draconian security measures and idiotic fees, how I refused to subject myself to the hassle & expense.

A shame really, since I used to love to fly and my wife has never flown anywhere; it would have been fun to take her on her first flight.

However, the events of the past couple weeks have cemented my decision. Screw you, airlines. and most especially, screw you, TSA. In fact screw you twice, sideways, with a rusty chainsaw.

INDIANAPOLIS-- A returning National Guard soldier on his way home from Afghanistan gets his nail clippers confiscated as a potential weapon but he gets to keep the RIFLE he's carrying.

PHILADELPHIA-- Woman in a Dallas Cowboys jersey singled out for harassment by the TSA for wearing a Dallas jersey in Philly. "How does it feel to be a Dallas Cowboys fan in Philadelphia?"

CHICAGO-- Stories coming out of O'Hare tell that passengers should show up 5 to 6 hours EARLY to get through security now.

LOCATION UNKNOWN-- Five year old boy forced into strip search after being selected for pat down. Kid did not set off a metal detector.

71-year old man forced to remove pants in plain view of everyone over artificial knee. Woman dogpiled by cops for arguing with TSA agent. 16-year old girl gets felt up every time she flies over prosthetic leg. Woman forced to remove nipple rings.

Flight attendant and cancer survivor forced to remove and show prosthetic breast to TSA Gropenfuhrers.

SANFORD FLORIDA--Airport wants to opt out of using TSA Grope & Change Screeners and use private company instead of government jackboot thugs.

ORLANDO--TSA Agents force a man with a urostomy bag through a patdown and rupture his bag, leaving him soaked in urine, and just walk away like nothing happened.

CHATTANOOGA-- Screaming, terrified 3-year old forcibly patted down by TSA Gropenfuhrers

People are missing flights. Flight crews are being held up or missing flights. Rape victims are suffering PTSD trauma as they are being felt up. Old ladies, nuns, and toddlers are being groped like terrorists while the TSA refuses to profile actual potential terrorists. A pilot with artificial hips was reduced to tears and unable to function after realizing that his hips will set off the detectors and he'll be forced to be groped every time he comes to work.

So then after we get felt up and probed and accosted or paraded naked on giant X-Ray TV sets and robbed of our dignity for five hours, then the airlines rob you for the cost of your tickets and then surcharges for checked bags, surcharges for being fat, surcharges for a blanket or a toilet or a meal or aisle seat or window seat or made to feel like a scumbag for eating a smuggled peanut because a peanut is now a deadly toxic biological weapon.

Me, fly? Not bloody likely.

Special Thanks to Bungalow Bill for a couple references.....

An Angry Conversation With a Liberal

Some days the blogs just write themselves.

A couple weeks ago, my Sarcastic Liberal Former Classmate (the guy who hates Glenn Beck so very much) featured in previous episodes posted this link up to a "note" written on his friend's Facebook account. This friend of his, who we shall henceforth call Midwest UberLiberal, worked on the Congressional campaign for some unknown Dem in Iowa, and reposted on his Facebook page something that went like wildfire around the web at election time. I was actually giving this clown credit for writing it till I found dozens of links to various pages out there that had iterations of it out there. It was addressed to the Tea Party.

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.

You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate Energy policy and push us to invade Iraq .

You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us. You didn't get mad when we spent over 800 billion (and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn't get mad when Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than the previous 42 Presidents combined.

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars in cash just disappeared in Iraq .

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn't get mad when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.

You didn't get mad when Bush rang up 10 trillion dollars in combined budget and current account deficits.

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans drown.

You didn't get mad when we gave people who had more money than they could spend, the filthy rich, over a trillion dollars in taxbreaks. You didn't get mad with the worst 8 years of job creations in several decades.

You didn't get mad when over 200,000 US Citizens lost their lives because they had no health insurance.

You didn't get mad when lack of oversight and regulations from the Bush Administration caused US Citizens to lose 12 trillion dollars in investments, retirement, and home values.

No.....You finally got mad

When a black man was elected President and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.

Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick...Oh, Hell No!!

Now, where do I even begin to refute this pile of puke?

How about we start with the very fact that the Tea Party Movement itself didn't even come about until after your beloved Obamessiah was Immaculated as Most Lord Holy of Liberalism? The Tea Party came about as a direct result of Obama (Blessed Be His Name). The fact that pretty much everything you whined & cried about happened BEFORE there was even a Tea Party in existance makes your points moot and laughable. But hey, I'll play your silly games. Lay on, MacDufff, and damn'd be him that first cries "Hold, enough!".

Hmmm....stopping the recount & appointing a President? Oh, you mean that stuff where the Electoral College cast its votes under its mandate from the United States Constitution and Bush won the election?

See, they figured that the average Joe farmer in 1778 might not exactly be smart enough to not vote for, say, his own cow. And they had a backup plan to keep that from happening. Rather than directly voting for the President, our citizens cast votes for electors. Electors are technically free to vote for anyone eligible to be President, but in practice pledge to vote for specific candidates, and voters cast ballots for favored candidates by voting for correspondingly pledged electors.

Most states allow voters to choose between statewide slates of electors pledged to vote for the presidential tickets of various parties; the ticket that receives the most votes statewide 'wins' all of the votes cast by electors from that state. U.S. presidential campaigns concentrate on winning the popular vote in a combination of states that choose a majority of the electors, rather than campaigning to win the most votes nationally. The Electoral College cast its votes for Bush, and your side lost. Tough noogies. Quit crying. Write your Congresscreature and have them try to amend the Constitution.

We didn't get mad when Cheney seemingly manipulated the energy system? Nah, I only wrote about it in November 2006 and angrily derided Big Oil a month later. I did get mad when the CIA agent was outed; I just didn't write about it.

You're right; I didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed. I got very worried. Happened before I started blogging so I have nothing to pint you towards. However, I will gladly point you towards the fact that Obama extended the Patriot Act this year. Signed it back in February, don'tcha know...

You asked why we didn't get mad when we spent 800 billion dollars on an illegal war, but double that and you'll have Obama's debt through Obama Care. Mad yet? You cry about illegally invading Iraq but applaud illegal aliens who invade us every day of the year and twice on Sundays? Get off your high horse; I can't reach you up there to slap that smug look off your face.

Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources that the previous 42 combined, huh? And Obama just prints money out of thin air with nothing to back it. And you know who controlled the Congress and (say it with me now) spending for 2/3 of the Bush Presidency? DEMOCRATS.

We didn't get mad when ten billion in cash disappeared in Iraq? The way Obama spends that's chump change, princess. He spends that much on Air Force One date nights to get Wagyu Pizza. A couple billion on a junket to India. Billions to renovate mosques overseas and to give condoms to people in poor countries who screw like rabbits or to pay for abortions for those in other countries. We're a bit more angry at TRILLIONS that are disappearing in WASHINGTON.

We didn't get mad when we found out we were torturing people? Dude, I hope to hell that you never have a kid get kidnapped or held hostage or that some terrorist has a nuke planted under your house, but if that ever happens and the guy with the info that will get your kid back or stop that detonation will only talk if you drizzle water on his face, remember your stance on torture. Is it a harsh interrogation technique? Yes. Is it torture? Nope. And yeah, I wrote about that too, way back in November of 2007.

You said Bush sent 6 million jobs out of the country. You Libs claim to have created or saved or invented 66 billion jobs from thin air. Make sure you let the Bush tax cuts die off so MORE jobs will be lost or sent overseas when it becomes too expensive to do business here.

Illegally wiretapping Americans....again, Obama extended the Patriot Act. You Libs are happy with shutting down the Internet when you deem any old contrived emergency too. How about Draconian searches at airports? Radiating unsuspecting vehicles & homes with back-scatter radars in unmarked spy trucks? Establishing new "Fusion Centers" to coordinate surveillance against Americans to ostensibly counter terror attacks but in reality cover any and all things the administration deems necessary. Your beloved American Snivel Liberties Union is even worried about them.

I didn't get mad when we didn't find Bin Laden? I guess you missed my article in May of 2007 that talked about it and how the Liberal Media helps Bin Laden and the Taliban and Al Qaeda by broadcasting every surge and every troop movement and every timetable for our troops.....

Don't get me started on Walter Reed, pal. I was on top of that while you were still sipping your double skinny caramel macchiatto at Starbucks while doing the NY Times crossword.

Isn't it really about time to lay off that whole trite and tired Bush Hates Black People Katrina bullshit? I mean, how long did it take for Obama to finally visit the Gulf after the oil spill? And really, let's take a longer look at Katrina, shall we? FEMA, who I did criticize afterwards for their bad handling of the relief trailers, is a MANAGEMENT agency. Y'know, the best way to explain t
his is to directly quote author John Ringo from his most excellent book The Last Centurion:

There were not tens of thousands of dead. There were no riots or rapes in the Superdome and people were neither starving nor "out of water." They were being rationed, which the fuckers that were complaining thought was starving, but that's not the same thing. But let's look at the Evacuation Plan.

Okay, Nagin was a total fuck-up and never even tried to initiate it. He'd never looked at it, despite a fucking hurricane being headed for his city which, by the way, was below sea level. So calling him a fuck-up is insulting fuck-ups. But there was a Plan.

The Plan was to use school and city buses to evacuate all those who were "transportation challenged." Whether Nagin used it or not was sort of a moot point, though. People had forgotten little details. Such as, there was no emergency call list for the drivers.

In any group that does emergency response, from the military to cops and even including child services, there is a call list. Generally it's a call tree. Person at the top gets a call. He or she calls three people, then starts getting ready to head in. Those people call two or three people lower than them and start getting ready. Assuming more or less equal transportation distances, the bosses get to work first, which helps in most cases.

There was no such phone tree for bus drivers. So there was no real way for anyone to get ahold of them in an emergency. Oops.

Drivers had never been told that they were supposed to drive people out in an emergency. So they weren't exactly sitting by the phone if there had been a phone tree. They had jobs and cars. They were packing to leave or already gone.

And that was the last point. The order to get out was sent out before any thought was given at all to the "transportation challenged" plan and even the evacuation order was more of a bow to reality; the roads out of New Orleans were packed (by among other things the bus drivers) when it was given….

Look, in a local major disaster like that, FEMA wasn't even supposed to be up and running for seventy-two hours. Three days. That was after they were requested by local authorities. But on day two, hell with the skies barely clearing, people were asking "Where is FEMA?"

FEMA doesn't actually have all that many full-time employees. Disasters, by their very definition, don't occur all the fucking time. So most of its response specialists are contractors who do other things, or are retired and hang out, waiting for the next response.

They had to be called in. People had to go in and find areas to set up. It take stime. Even then, they don't do most of the work. They coordinate the work. More contractors, and military, and local government do the actual work. Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Asking "where is FEMA" in a disaster is like asking "Why aren't the managers here?"

The managers are important, don't get me wrong. But they don't get the bodies cleared.

Well, that pretty much sums that one up, without even mentioning the Democrat Congressman "rescued" by the National Guard who went to his house to fetch almost 100 grand in cash from his freezer... How many vacations did Obama take before he deigned to set foot in Louisiana and the Redneck Riviera? The administration killed deepwater drilling and let the rigs float off the drill oil for other countries while China and other countries drilled off of Cuba and Mexico kept on drilling in their waters. The administration sat on its hands and refused to allow booms to be brought in just in case a new spill just magically happened elsewhere, and over-regulated the skimmer ships that volunteered to help. I mean, they wanted to refuse the A-Whale ship until they checked to see how much oil was still in the skimmed discharge water...excuse me, but water with a little oil in it is preferable to water with LOTS of oil in it. We won't let you remove 98% because there might be 2% in what goes back and we'd rather keep 100% in the water for now. Obama stayed barely 27 hours before jetting off to Mecca's Vineyard.

And then you say we finally got mad because Obama's BLACK? Or that sick people need healthcare? Dude, are you on CRACK?

There are so many better reasons to dislike Obama than race. Besides, you liberals like to forget he's half white. Jim Clyburn plays that Race Card every chance he gets. It's frankly gotten quite old. We're angry at the fact that instead of overhauling the BILLING PROCESS and curbing the COSTS of healthcare, which here in America is VASTLY superior to the crap doled out in socialist countries, he instead wants to NATIONALIZE it and further bankrupt the country as a whole and destroy the insurance industry in favor of bigger government.

Cigna Corporation, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and others aren't renewing hundreds of Medicare Advantage plans, which are Medicare policies administered by private insurers. The moves will displace some 700,000 beneficiaries who must find new policies, according to Humana Inc., a large seller of these Advantage plans. So that's 700 THOUSAND elderly Americans displaced from healthcare thanks to your Obamessiah. Should I be mad yet? For 2011, the Kaiser Family Foundation said there will be a 13% decline in the number of Medicare Advantage plans. Now is it okay to be mad?

Or how about the Obama Administration printing more money pell-mell with nothing to back it up and destabilizing and devaluing the dollar? How about nationalizing student loans and mortgages and car companies and burning holes in your precious ozone layer flying everywhere on trips and vacations while Boogeyman In Chief George Soros and his shadowy minions make Dick Cheney look like a warm fuzzy kitten?

You want mad? I've got your mad, right here.

Now get the hell out of my way so we can try and fix what you morons have damn near destroyed.

More conversations with Liberals

A couple months ago I started a new "feature" here at Global Domination Through Applied Inactivity called Conversations With Liberals. This is where I highlight some of the foaming at the mouth I encounter in my daily interactions with the Liberals of the Species.

Today we continue the fun & excitement.

First up we have Woe-Is-Me Girl. "Woe" is in her early 30's, chronically under/unemployed, and attending college for a Masters, and lives in the Liberal Stronghold itself, the People's Democratic Republic of Illinois.

Just before the election she posts up a link from none other than, get this: . Seriously. And then has THIS to say when quoting the article:

"...the electorate that's likely to turn out on Election Day will over-represent people who voted for John McCain and Republicans in 2008--and under-represent the majority who voted for Obama and the Democrats....A Project Vote study that compared self-identified Tea Party sympathizers with low-income, minority and female supporters of Barack Obama in 2008 found that two-thirds of Tea Partiers had incomes above the national median, and three-quarters reported being in good financial shape. By contrast, 60 percent of African Americans and nearly one-half of young voters had incomes below the national median."

It's all about money for these fucks (Rep). They don't give a rat's ass about us.

Hmmm.....if we didn't care, we'd just let the Democrats continue to run the economy down the shitter. Also, I love that they compared people who made less to people who made more to state the obvious, which was that certain people make more than others and we're all supposed to feel guilty about making more than other people, if indeed we do make more than others. I know an assload of Dems who make a LOT more than me. This report is like saying "A study that compared people with apples to people with oranges found that two-thirds of group A had more oranges than people who have fruit and that 60 percent of random group cluster B had apples below the national average of fruit posession."

And a few days ago, Woe had this to share:

"Just bought my new laptop for school! Yay me! Spread over 6 months for payment, I maybe can pull it off, as long as ReFUCKlicans don't take away my unemployment..."

Oh yes. As long as you get your entitlements we don't incur your venomous wrath and ire. As long as you can purchase a high-value item with your entitlements all is well in the world. Christ, go get a job at McDonald's. A girl I went to high school with managed a McDonald's in college for 6 years getting her BA and Master's before landing a regular job in her career field. Not too long ago, fast food places were giving away signing bonuses to get people to work there. Then again, that was during the Evil Bush Administration; such thing
s may now be extinct in the Obama Utopia.

Another friend, Screaming Militant Liberal, posted up a link to an article over at, another Leftist agenda-festival. The article, by Glenn Greenwald, crucified Representative Eric Cantor (R-VA), for going against the anti-Israel Obama Administration and meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to express his support for Israel despite the White House's less-than-friendly attitude towards a nation that most days is our only true ally in the Middle East.

Greenwald has the audacity to say, " Leave aside the absurdity of believing that Israel needs to be protected from the extremely deferential and devoted Obama administration." Are you serious? How about blowing Netanyahu off to go eat dinner? Or when Netanyahu canceled a trip to America a few months ago after Obama refused to meet with him? Yeah, that little snub got played up big time in the Muslim world, from Al-Jazeera to The Muslim Observer.

But Eric Cantor's a dirtbag for offering an olive branch.

Of course there was the expected litany of whining & sniveling after the election. The "teabagger" comments and the like were rampant & rife. Too many to even list.

Elitist Liberal Friend re-tweeted something he'd spotted:

Alvin Greene got 28% of the vote?!?! Damn, Jim DeMint must be a shitwagon of the highest calibre.

This prompted a couple of comments...

Elitist Liberal's Effete Friend: Unbelievable. If we had fielded a real candidate, we might have won.

Elitist Liberal:
Hell, a guy who knew how he got nominated might have taken 40%. BTW: I'm a lazy fool who hasn't heard the new Eno yet. (Getting good reviews though.)
I loved how a whine & cheese fest couldn't last two sentences before self-absorbed boredom sets in and the conversation turned to the latest album from Brian Eno.

Democrats overwhelmingly selected Alvin Greene in the primary to run against DeMint with 59% of the vote, despite very limited campaigning and campaign spending, and having no website and no yard signs. It's not Jim DeMint's fault that the opposition selected a guy who couldn't find his ass with both hands and a roadmap. Jim didn't even schedule debates or campaign all that hard because every time Greene opened his suck-hole he dug himself a deeper hole. DeMint was instead left free to help others get elected. And Greene got 28% because even when faced with defeat, Democrats still felt that they had to vote "D" or be faced with scribbling in Mickey Mouse's name in the write-in block. Greene's great idea to stimulate the economy was to make action figures of himself:

"Another thing we can do for jobs is make toys of me, especially for the holidays. Little dolls. Me. Like maybe little action dolls. Me in an army uniform, air force uniform, and me in my suit. They can make toys of me and my vehicle, especially for the holidays and Christmas for the kids. That's something that would create jobs. So you see I think out of the box like that. It's not something a typical person would bring up. That's something that could happen, that makes sense. It's not a joke."

Dude, you were booted from both the Air Force and the Army for incompetence and were indicted on porn charges. You give worse sound bytes than Rain Man and Forrest Gump. And they nominated you? And they question why they lost.....

Happened upon an interesting conversation from Elite Liberal about how vile the new logo for The Gap is, and how lame the new website is for Urban Outfitters. Wow. I never even noticed nor even knew they had changed.....I don't shop at The Gap or Urban Outfitters because it's overpriced trendy rags for image-conscious snobs, none of whom seem to weigh more than the clothes they're wearing (plus the weight of the latte in their hands). This conversation also took place a MONTH after the Gap pulled the plug on their new logo after only a week. However, I did learn a couple new words: Fauxhemian (well-to-do posers conforming to a safe, upper middle class lifestyle but with the superficial pretense of an alternative or Bohemian lifestyle) and Trustafarian (Privileged white kids who subscribe to the hippie lifestyle (because they can) since they have no worries about money, a job etc. They can then devote their lives to eating organic, following Phish, and wearing dreadlocks (no need for job interviews). They tend to drive Toyota Landcruisers, shop at cooperative supermarkets, and smell of patchouli--common in northern California.)
