The following occurred after an older gentleman cruised through a stop sign and got pulled over by a local policeman.
The fellow hands the cop his driver's license, insurance verification, plus his concealed carry permit.... Here's how the conversation went:
"Okay, Mr. Smith," the cop says, "I see your CCW permit. Are you carrying today?"
"Yes, I am."
"Well then, better tell me what you got."
Smith says, "Well, I got a .357 revolver in my inside coat pocket. There's a 9mm semi-auto in the glove box. And, I've got a .22 magnum derringer in my right boot."
"Okay," the cop says. "Anything else?"
"Yeah, back in the trunk, there's an AR-15 and a shotgun. That's about it."
"Mr. Smith, are you on your way to or from a gun range...?"
"Nope."
"Well then, what are you afraid of...?"
"Not a damn thing ..."
Yours truly exercising my Second Amendment Right....

That last graphic is SO TRUE historically and perfectly illustrates the true motives of 'gun control activists.'
reminds me of the saying--why do you carry a .45? because they don't make a .46. or....
i carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.
Well if the whole country ever goes to hell and the economy collapses, you'll be set!
How do you like that High Point?
She's been a good solid piece for me so far. I bought it from my father in law, who had it for years and only fired one magazine through it. Sure, it's a bit big and heavy, and I really wish it was of the newer style with a mag release NOT on the bottom on the grip....but it's been reliable and accurate and hasn't failed me yet. I'm no competition shooter, just a guy who target shoots to stay in practice and who keeps a piece he's comfy with around to protect the homestead.
