Yeah, I know it's not exactly news that she dresses like a walking freakshow, and I should be grateful that she's in between albums right now and I'm not hearing her on the radio every 36 minutes. I probably shouldn't even mention her name, lest I awaken the sleeping demon.But, y'know, sometimes I just wonder what's up with the craving for attention above & beyond the usual celebrity attention-whore needyness. Most celebrities really enjoy the limelight but this is just HEY LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME!!!!!
She's a talented artist with rather good dance music. The beats are great, although often the lyrics are a bit goofy for me. I understand the need to create and perform and express oneself; this blog is my own stage in some ways. But dayum....tone it down a notch? After a while folks are gonna think you're a clown and a sideshow, not a serious artist.

Maybe she's not really from here...maybe she's the Alien Queen. She came here to breed and spawn. But....who is she here to mate with?
And as a new Alien Queen, GaGa must replace an aging Queen until another comes along...

okay for one i respect you speaking your mind. Then, there's two, lady gaga is an inspiration and the reason her music is played constantly is because many people like it. Oh, and the whole "goofy" lyric thing is real funny because, "Whether life's disabilities Left you outcast, bullied or teased Rejoice and love yourself today'Cause baby, you were born this way" doesn't seem "goofy" at all it actually seems quite inspirational and like she knows what it's like to be different. Lady Gaga may be a little bit strange with how she proves her point, but in the end it all comes down to, she's different and she is showing that, that is okay. She loves herself for who she is and so do many others that's why she dresses like that, not because she's some attention seeking hag, but because she likes the way she looks and she doesn't care about peoples' opinions who think that they are better than everyone else just because they fit themseves into the criteria of what they old normal to be.
