Skip Syria and just invade Chicago

Well, if the Lamestream Media is to be believed, Nobel Peace Prize recipient Lord Barry Hussein Sotero, Black Jesus Himself, will make good on his blathering "red line" promise to bomb angry brown people in a third world country in between golf games sometime on Thursday.

I love how the media gets to broadcast our intentions so the enemy can prepare. They did it all throughout Iraq and Afghanistan, broadcasting troop movements & deployments and withdrawals and redeployment dates. They tried like hell in Gulf War One too; as a Military Policeman I had to turn away CNN reporters filming the railhead and wanting interviews at Fort Riley when 1st Infantry Division was sending its gear over to Saudi Arabia. If they could have, they would've blown the D-Day Invasion and the A-bomb drops on Hiroshima & Nagasaki by telling everyone we were coming and sparing no details.

Remember, when Navy SEALs and Marine recon elements landed on a beach in Somalia in 1992, CNN carried it live and lit up the beach with camera lights so the Skinnies could better see our troops, who had their night vision blinded by the lights.

 So the Syrian government knows we're coming.  And, contrary to popular belief, they actually do have a somewhat decent air defense network sold to them by the Russians.

The bulk of the American people aren't in favor of us getting into yet another shooting war. I'm not exactly sure who the hell it is that we're supposed to be helping. The government under Batshit Asshat is unfriendly towards us. There's nine different rebel groups, and seven of them are in league with Al Qaeda and thus unfriendly towards us. The government denies using chemical weapons against the rebels, of course. Oh, hey, yeah, chemical weapons...you know, like Saddam used on the Kurds...and like the kind of WMD's we were unable to find in Iraq when we invaded...in fact were the crux of the reasons Bush gave for invading in the first place...Hey, W, I think we found your missing WMD's!!! Just a decade late and of course Barry will take credit and blame you for anything that goes wrong.

Support for some sort of international military response was likely to grow if it is confirmed that Assad's regime was responsible for the August 21st attack in the Damascus suburbs that activists say killed hundreds of people. CNN reports that rebel officials say more than 1,300 people, including many women and children, died recently as a result of chemical weapons. The group Doctors Without Borders put the death toll at 355 and I tend to believe their assessment.

Question: If the Syrian government is beating the rebels quite handily using conventional weapons, as most reports claim, then why even bother to use chemical weapons in the first place, especially knowing the international outcry will be decidedly negative?

So we've got four destroyers loaded down with a mix of missiles in their Mk-41 Vertical Launch Systems. The media mistakenly keeps calling them battleships, because the media is stupid and ignorant and thinks all words are interchangeable. Then again the average civilian is also just stupid and ignorant enough to believe them. Remember, every weapon is an AR-15 or AK-47 assault rifle, especially if they're black & scary-looking...So we have the destroyers USS Ramage, USS Barry, USS Gravely, and USS Mahan floating offshore, with a fifth on the way. Each has a mix of up to 90 missiles but some of those are anti-aircraft missiles. That's the beauty of the Mk-41 system; no one knows what's in the tubes. They could have one ship tasked for air defense with nothing but Standard anti-aircraft missiles, and the other three could all be loaded with Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles (which the media calls Ballistic Missiles, which they are not).

Missiles are stored in vertical tubes under these hatches. Also visible are canister launchers for Harpoon anti-ship missiles and a Phalanx anti-aircraft gun system.

Speaking of Tomahawks, we may or may not also have two submarines, USS Georgia and USS Florida, hiding out over there. These used to be ballistic missile subs but were converted into platforms for Tomahawks, carrying up to 154 missiles each. They also carry detachments of SEALs more often than not. How convenient.

Two of the aforementioned ships, USS Florida and USS Barry, have done this before. Two years ago, when we stuck our nose into Libya's civil war, USS Florida started the attack by launching about 90 missiles to eradicate Libya's air defenses so air strikes could come in after. USS Barry also launched Tomahawks at Libya in 2011.

The problem with cruise missiles is overflight. Even close U.S. allies are uncomfortable allowing American missiles to fly over their territory en route to their targets: Saudi Arabia and Turkey both banned U.S. missile overflights in 2003. Red Sea firing positions would probably require Tomahawk missiles to fly over Jordan, necessitating that country’s permission. By contrast, firing from the Med allows direct access to Syria. But with just 100 miles of coastline and more and more warships arriving, Syria’s waters could get real crowded real quick.

Fewer of our alleged allies are cool with us flying strike aircraft over their territory to bomb folks either. Everyone looks to us to be the world's police force and then hamstrings us, leaving us holding the bag and footing the bill. The Brits are out there with us offshore, though. God love 'em, we can always count on them to have our backs.

So, Barry is itching to go to war over an alleged attack that left perhaps 500 people dead. While that is, of course, in and of itself a tragedy, it's a tragedy in someone else's country and we have problems here at home. We had 532 murders in Chicago last year and have already hit 300 this year. Maybe we need to invade Chicago for its own good and clean out the government there? We keep saying the Syrian regime is corrupt, but nothing on earth is more corrupt than Chicago politics. The people of Syria are beleaguered and downtrodden, much like 99% of Chicago's citizenry. Those who would like to change the government need supplies and weapons, and the law-abiding citizens of Chicago are unable to own any weapons to defend themselves against thuggery and evil.

Seriously, charity begins at home, so if we're gonna send our troops somewhere to help out people in need, by God we should send in a division to clear out Chicago, and another to Detroit, and then go on to San Fransisco and Los Angeles and New York and, dare we even hope, to liberate Washington itself.

An unvarnished view on the US elections from the Brits

You and I both know that there's really no way, apart from Fox News and The Blaze, to get news and information without an obvious left-leaning liberal slant. The mainstream lamestream lapdog media in this country sabotages the Right and pushes the Left. They don't even bother to hide it anymore. They're out in the open with no consideration whatsoever to being unbiased and neutral, so journalistic integrity these days is a joke. Of course one could say that Fox and The Blaze only give you the Right's viewpoint but I prefer to look at it as exposing the Left's true plans and schemes and showing us what's REALLY going on.

Half the people under 40 in this country get their news from comedy.....let that sink in a second......They're so stupid that they think Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are actual news outlets instead of liberal comedy shows and think their snarky sarcasm is the gospel truth.

So I turn to across the pond.

I read The UK Daily Mail on a daily basis. I started off reading it for the British news stories, to see what's going on outside the US, and to chuckle at their entertainment stories since they tend to be a bit harsher in their views on pampered idiot celebrities. However, I kept playing with their iPhone app and started reading their US news stories and their op/ed articles as well, and being not-American, they can give an honest unbiased appraisal without fear of pissing off the average American idiot. Granted, the Daily Mail has a bit of a reputation for leaning conservative whereas papers like The Guardian are liberal. I have both bookmarked on my laptop.

I found the following two articles at The Daily Mail the day after the elections last week, and I was blown away by their blunt & brutal honesty. You won't find stuff like this in our media over here.

Forget 'hope and change'- this was a victory for fear and loathing

Mitt Romney was right about one thing. He was secretly taped back in May telling fund-raisers that half the country would support Barack Obama because they depend on the government for all or part of their income.

Romney correctly identified America’s burgeoning entitlement culture as a major obstacle to a Republican winning back the White House.

‘There are 47 per cent of the people who will vote for the President no matter what . . . who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe they are entitled to healthcare, to food, to housing, to you name it.’

Striking an almost defeatist note, he concluded: ‘I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their own lives.’

Romney’s leaked remarks caused a predictable storm of confected outrage, but his analysis was bang on the money. Just as Gordon Brown cynically constructed a client state in Britain to maximize Labor's electoral advantage, so the Democrats deliberately drain the public purse to feed their supporters’ insatiable appetite for handouts.

When 47 per cent of the electorate depends to a greater or lesser degree on government largesse, the Democrats have only to target another four or five  per cent of voters to secure a majority.

With the overall result pivoting on a handful of battleground states, Obama’s supporters concentrated successfully on turning out the Democratic base and convincing sufficient wavering independents that they  would be hurt financially by a Romney victory.

This wasn’t a ‘hope and change’ election like 2008. Obama’s campaign this time was based on fear  and loathing. 

Romney was portrayed as a ruthless predatory capitalist, hell-bent on grinding ordinary Americans into the dust, sending their jobs abroad and denying them even rudimentary healthcare provision.

One advert showed Romney pushing an old lady in a wheelchair over a cliff. Another even accused him of causing a former employee’s wife to die of cancer. It was garbage, but it was effective. 

By the time of the first televised debate, which Romney won convincingly, the damage had probably already been done — at least in the minds of enough voters to help Obama belly-flop over the line in the swing states that mattered.

Even so, it still went down to the wire, with Obama only just taking a smidgin over 50 per cent of the popular vote nationally. This was nobody’s idea of a landslide, despite the electoral college system giving the President an impressive victory on paper. Obama actually polled ten million fewer votes than he did in 2008.

Many voters told exit pollsters they had only made up their mind on the day of the election. Some pundits think Obama’s handling of Superstorm Sandy may have swung it for him.

The hurricane certainly allowed Obama to pull on his bomber jacket, visit the scene and look presidential. But the fact is that Sandy, which hit Atlantic City at a speed of 80mph, spent more time in New Jersey than Obama. And five minutes after the President had tweeted pictures of himself empathizing with storm victims, it was everybody back on Air Force One for another election rally in Nevada.

Meanwhile, the devastation visited upon parts of the North East remains every bit as awful as Katrina inflicted on New Orleans in 2005, and the clean-up just as patchy and poorly coordinated.

Yet while George W. Bush was held personally responsible for Katrina, Obama’s visit to New Jersey was reported in the same reverential terms the Pathe newsreels used to reserve for the Queen Mum’s morale-boosting wartime walkabouts in the bomb-ravaged East End of London.

Romney wasn’t just taking on the President, he was battling a hostile mainstream media every bit as biased in favor of Obama as the BBC is towards Labor. Of course, the BBC loves Obama, too. And plenty of British commentators suspend their critical faculties when it comes to America’s first black President.

This probably explains why a recent opinion poll showed that 80 per cent of people in Britain wanted Obama to win. They only know what they read and watch on TV, which for the past few years has been a constant fanfare of fawning praise.

But just to put this in perspective, it’s not that long ago that three-quarters of Americans wanted Tony Blair to be their President. 

For the record, I welcomed Obama’s election in 2008, although I doubted whether he would live up to the hype. From the ashes of race riots of the Sixties to a black President 40 years later is remarkable testimony to America’s genius for renewal and reinvention. Obama’s election was a milestone on America’s journey from its white European roots to rainbow nation.

I have life-long Republican friends who voted for Obama in 2008, proudly, not reluctantly, because they believed he might unite the country after the turmoil of the Bush years. On that score he hasn’t only failed, he hasn’t even tried. 

America’s most popular talk-show host, Rush Limbaugh, joked on Tuesday that they might just as well divide America in half along the Mississippi river and let all  the Republicans live on  one side, with the Democrats on the other. 

He predicted that it wouldn’t be long before self-styled ‘liberals’ would be clambering over the wall — like refugees from Cold War East Berlin — to escape the Democrats’ big government, high taxes and economic irresponsibility.

Limbaugh’s got a point. On the basis of Obama’s record, he probably didn’t deserve to get re-elected. The deficit has soared to $1.3 trillion. Unemployment remains stubbornly high. The country is teetering on the edge of a fiscal precipice. The election result has changed nothing.

But Obama’s fortunate that more than half of voters still blame Bush for the financial crisis — and just enough of them are prepared to give the President another four years to put it right.

The worry is that the drift from a dynamic ‘can-do’ nation to a dependent ‘something for nothing’ society continues to stifle economic recovery. The world needs America’s red-in-tooth-and-claw capitalism to fuel global growth.

What’s of equal concern is that under Obama, as in Britain, rampant hostility to private enterprise and ‘the rich’ has flourished.

That probably cost Romney the presidency. He may have had the credentials to kick-start the economy and prosperity. But he wasn’t a perfect candidate — simply the best of a deeply unimpressive bunch. 

His self-made $200 million fortune — which should have been a source of admiration, not resentment — left him exposed to accusations of being ‘out of touch’ and only caring about ‘the rich’. (Now where have we heard that before?)

So can the Republicans win next time, or is this as good as it gets? Romney actually polled fewer votes than John McCain four years ago.

It didn’t help that, despite his Mormon faith, Romney came across as one of those aloof, ‘born-to-rule’ WASPs who have dominated the Republican establishment since the days of Abraham Lincoln.

With minorities flocking to Obama and America’s demographics shifting, can a middle-aged white man ever get elected again? Some commentators think not.

(Mind you, Obama’s campaign featured so many white, middle-aged male celebrities that some of his rallies looked like TV adverts for erectile dysfunction medication.)

Obama’s victory wasn’t  entirely down to minority support, though. The swing states which took him over the line are predominantly white, which suggests whites are equally comfortable with the idea of sucking on the government teat.

In fact, immigrant communities are responsible for some of the most enterprising sectors of the economy, especially Hispanics and Asians, who should be natural Republican supporters. 

Hispanics increasingly form  a vital component of the  American electorate.
That’s why my money is on the Republican candidate in 2016 being Cuban-American senator Marco Rubio.

I watched Rubio electrify a Tea Party rally in Florida 18 months ago. He’s the most impressive young politician on either side of the Atlantic.

He could win and win big. But only if enough of his fellow Americans are prepared to start asking what they can do for their country, not what their country can do for them.

New dawn? This looks more like a new dusk

The next four years for America look bleak. It’s not so much a new dawn as a new dusk. And with 50 months left in power, President Obama, his hands tied by a Republican-controlled House of Representatives, is a lame duck already.

He was re-elected despite a majority of voters thinking the economy is on the wrong track. And with tax rises that could wreck recovery due on January 1 – the so-called ‘fiscal cliff’ – experts fear a recession here in 2013.

The most sensible policy – which a Romney administration would have pursued – is deficit reduction. Instead, the second Obama term will increase the deficit, further diminishing America’s economic power and credibility.

Around $1trillion a year will be added to debt – bringing the total to $20trillion by 2016. This will drive up interest rates on US bonds, and hard-pressed Americans will have to pay more taxes to fund higher interest payments.

Meanwhile, the President is determined to push through his ‘Obamacare’ health insurance policy, which would account for a large part of that increase. 

But the Democrats are well aware that the pumping of federal money into corporate bail-outs and infrastructure projects in declining regions is the key to creating a state clientele that keeps voting them back into office.

The administration is already devising stealth taxes to help pay for the bribes it wishes to offer the coalition of minorities that comprise its supporters. Some will corrode the core of American self-reliance, such as taxes on any substantial capital gains made from house sales. Others are simply opportunist, such as a tax on tanning salons.

These are all measures of how desperate the financial situation is – a reality apparently kept from most of the American electorate, so far.

Washington observers speak of the incompetence of the Obama administration – not just its ability to waste money, but also to target funds so badly. There is very little to show for the $787 billion fiscal stimulus of 2009. A fraction of it could have been used to create serious sea defenses around New York and New Jersey, to avoid the devastation of last week’s storm, for example.

Swingeing taxes that fall disproportionately on wealth-creators and entrepreneurs will not be all that stalls an economic recovery. So too will a failing national infrastructure whose state of disrepair is beyond pork-barrel handouts from Washington to local communities, but requires a big federal program – and big federal money.

Roads, rail and airports all cry out for investment and improvement. But as long as money is thrown at failing industries – such as in the car industry bail-out that helped Mr Obama win Ohio and Michigan this week – the administration cannot afford to take big strategic decisions such as these.

The domestic economy is, however, only the beginning of Mr Obama’s problems. The Republicans will do all they can in the House to obstruct high-spending and socially damaging policies – creating legislative deadlock.

And as America subsides into a welfarist, subsidy culture, so will its paranoia about China – already running at near-hysterical levels in some manufacturing regions – grow. America increasingly fears China both as an economic and a military titan – the two components of being a superpower.

Defense cuts in America are inevitable once the borrowing binge brings serious damage to the economy – as it will by mid-term, if not before – and that will increase the nation’s sense of vulnerability towards the Chinese. 

And America’s intractable unemployment problem – it was 8 per cent when President Obama assumed office and is 7.9 per cent now – is increasingly perceived as the result of a highly disciplined and well-trained workforce in China that systematically undercuts over-regulated American business.

Mr Obama must choose a new Secretary of State. Hillary Clinton – who may well run for the Democratic nomination in 2016 – has signaled a wish to stand down. Whoever succeeds her – and a favorite is John Kerry, who lost the 2004 presidential election to George W Bush – has to deal with Iran’s determination to become a nuclear power, and that state’s continuing threats against Israel.

The human cost of such a conflict would be terrible, and American diplomacy might not be equal to preventing either Israel or Iran choosing to strike at the other.

Less widely appreciated is the catastrophic effect it would have on the global economy through oil prices, and especially on an America that is already hobbling.

Obama’s supporters claim the worst is over, and the best is yet to come.

Such clichés patronize not merely the American public who, by re-electing him, have chosen the soft option rather than a confrontation with economic reality. They also patronize a substantial part of the developed world that, even if it no longer looks to America for political leadership, relies for its standard of living on the US being economically strong.

On the evidence of the past four years, notably Mr Obama’s record of serial economic incompetence, the next four are going to be exceptionally trying – and, sadly, not just for Americans.

Dr. Afridi...Paging Dr. Afridi...

I find it exceptionally galling that our erstwhile allies in Pakistan have decided to imprison Dr. Shakil Afridi for 33 years. 

Who?

Dude, do you live under a rock? Without the good doctor, Obama The Conqueror would never have been able to kill Osama Bin Laden single-handedly with his bare fists of fury a year ago

Seriously.

Well, maybe not. Actually, Dr. Afridi was a key figure in the raid by U.S. Navy SEAL operators that resulted in the death of Bin Laden. Dr. Afridi was able to get DNA evidence from Osama’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan and relay it to American intelligence personnel, and once it was confirmed to be from The Man Himself, the raid was set into motion.

And how to we repay Shakil Afridi? We blab his role to the Lamestream Media and the Pakistanis toss his ass in jail, where he’s been for, you guessed it, about a year now. The Paks claim that Dr. Afridi was actually imprisoned for allegedly being involved with a radical Muslim extremist group…and the group denies it completely.

A commander from the group Lashkar-e-Islam said that "We have no link to such a shameless man. If we see him, we'll chew him alive." 

Afridi was sentenced to 33 years in prison in Peshawar after he was found guilty of treason last week. The ruling was made under the tribal justice system of Khyber district, part of Pakistan's semi-autonomous tribal belt, since that whole central government thing is pretty ineffective in backwater Muslim Fundamentalist vacation spots like Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Kinda funny that the Paks say Afridi was helping this group out, hot on the heels of a huge Washington backlash against his sentence. Last week a Senate panel voted to strip Pakistan of $33 million in aid packages, a million bucks for each year of Afridi’s sentence, but Senator. Rand Paul of Kentucky said he would introduce a pair of bills next week to take matters further. 

One bill would strip Pakistan, which received $2.1 billion from the U.S. for the current fiscal year, of all foreign aid until Afridi's 33-year sentence is overturned and he's allowed to leave the country; the other bill would grant Afridi U.S. citizenship. Senator Paul, speaking today on the Mike Huckabee radio show, said basically that chopping 33 million from them was like taking 3% away and that he wanted to take away the whole shebang to send a clear message that we are not to be trifled with in this matter. Dr. Afridi’s wife is an American citizen of Pakistani origin, which can only help the matter in the court of international opinion.

But…why the bloody hell are we still giving Pakistan billions in aid? They can claim all they want that they are our allies and that they are in sync with us in searching for Al Qaeda operatives…but we all know that’s crap. They no longer allow our resupply convoys to cross through PakiLand to move needed supplies to troops in Afghanistan. They bitch & whine when our Predator drones lob missiles into their airspace but if they weren’t HARBORING AL QAEDA TERRORISTS IN THEIR COUNTRY we wouldn’t be blowing people up on their side of the fence now, would we?

You can’t tell me they didn’t know Bin Laden was camped out in a multi-building compound next to a military academy. That’s farcical; sheer comedy. And then they acted all indignant when we rolled in to smite him like a cockroach without telling them first (so that they could warn him, no doubt).

Look, Pakistan: we only tolerate your asses because you have nukes and were regularly buying F-16s and what not from us. However, we’ve had just about enough of your crap, your harboring of terrorists and your fundamental Muslim extremism. So hand over the good doctor and maybe, just maybe, we’ll throw you some treats. Elsewise, do not pass “GO”, do not collect 2 billion, and go directly to the liberal turds at MSNBC; maybe they’ll care.

In Their Own Words: The Leech Class

This morning, long about 3:15 AM Eastern or so, I was on a quiet dark country road on my way to work. I was listening to RedEye Radio, what used to be called the Midnight Trucking Radio Network, since I just can't listen to all the UFO and Tinfoil Hat stuff on Coast to Coast AM. Anyway, I digress...

The topic of conversation turned to their audio of a clip culled from this weekend's episode of HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher". In general I have a low opinion of Maher, an unfunny liberal mouthpiece hack, and I was prepared to loathe his guest by name alone: Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of Nancy Pelosi. Yeah, guilt by association, and the rotted crabapple didn't fall far from the tree.

It seems in last week's episode, unwatched by me because A) I don't have HBO and B) I would sooner poke myself in the eye with a scalding french fry, Miz Pelosi in the role of roving correspondent, was in rural Mississippi for the state's Republican Primary and she interviewed only the most ass-backwards stereotypes she could fin in an attempt to belittle Southerners as a whole and Southern Republicans in particular. Well, this week, in some vague attempt to be fair & balanced, she went to the welfare office across from her apartment building in New York City and began interviewing the Leech Class vultures fleecing you and me for free stash.

(Note: Yeah, I once railed against the profits of certain large corporations myself, and while I do think some companies make obscene profits by overcharging for their goods & services, I firmly believe in capitalism and a free market economy)

So Warren Buffet says we don't tax him enough, huh? So then freely donate your entire net worth to the federal deficit, moron. That's your right & your choice; don't make everyone give up theirs just because you have too much.

Y'know....you're worth like what, 45 BILLION? That's not your income yearly though. You're an old geezer and it took decades to amass that fortune. You probably only rake in a few hundred mill a year now. So when the IRS taxes you they'll tax you on your income, not what you have tucked away in assets and accounts and what not. So sure, it still doesn't hurt you all that badly if they tax you a hundred mill you still have lots of hidden secured wealth at hand so as not to hamper you privileged lifestyle.

And then there's Michael Moore....who in the past sued Harvey and Bob Weinstein, accusing the brothers of “Hollywood accounting tricks” and “financial deception” that cheated him out of at least $2.7 million in profits from the hit documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.
Moore’s entire career has centered around excoriating and crucifying capitalism and profits. One of Moore’s most strongly held convictions is that, as he declared on the CNN program Crossfire in 2002, “Capitalism is a sin. This is an evil system.” And yet that turd bitched about profits that he may or may not have been due. And he thinks we should just bully the guys at the S&P and put them on trial as criminals because they had the balls to do what they said they were going to do and Obama wouldn't listen. Instead, he just kept spending.
The next time that bloated sack of protoplasm or some other scumbag commie liberal opens their suck-hole and demands that we tax the rich to death, or confiscate the profits of corporations, and give it all to the poor huddled non-working lagabout masses sucking the Government Tit, please I beg of you, feed them this. Sure, $3.7 trillion of spending sounds like a big number. "Oh, boo-hoo, how are we going to get $3.7 trillion dollars? We're broke, boo-hoo-hoo," whine the whiners. What these skinflint crybabies fail to realize is that $3.7 trillion is for an entire year - which translates into only a measly $10 billion per day!

Mister, I call that a bargain. Especially since it pays for all of us - you and me, the whole American family. Like all families, we Americas have to pay for things - health, food, safety, uncle Dave America with his drinking problem. And when little Billy America wants that new quad runner they promised, do Mom and Dad America deny him? No, they get a second job at Circle K, because they know little Billy might have one of his episodes and burn down the house.

As part of my continuing series, "Conversations With Liberals", today I gotta highlight a website that has spread through my liberal friends like cholera through Port Au Prince; quick & nasty & with bad results.

The website in question is called, literally, What The Fuck Has Obama Done So Far? There is also a PG-rated version you can click on. The website was created by Leftists for Leftists to make them feel better about the fact that all their Obasessiah has accomplished is CRAP. Each little factoid is backed up with a link, and those links aren't from independent sources, but rather from the Left's own propaganda machines, mostly the NY Times and Obama's own website. Like those won't be biased? Puh-leeeez. Oh, wait. There's also Wikipedia, a site that anyone can edit an article in. It truly has to be seen to be believed.

I'll give you the meat & potatoes and then the rebuttals:

1. Signed the Weapons Systems Acquisition Reform Act to stop fraud and wasteful spending in the defense procurement and contracting system...(linked to Wiki)

All Obama did was sign it. The bill passed both houses unanimously so it wasn't like he could just veto it. And with Obie canceling the procurement of more F-22's and the different branches canceling orders for MRAPs, how many new systems are we trying to procure that weren't already budgeted....I forget when appropriations went through for the F-23's, and any of the new ships on the ways.

Rate-raising protections don't apply when banks issue new cards. Where? How? You're effectively RAISING taxes by sunsetting the Bush cuts. How many of those 29 million are illegals? How many actually pay taxes or are already on free healthcare?
