Dude, where's my emails?

Forrest Gump may not have been a smart man, but even he would have known that emails aren't stored on your hard drive.

I'm simply amazed that the IRS, and well really the entire Obeezy Administration and the Democrat Machine, are so effing arrogant and corrupt that they think everyone around them is too stupid to see past their bullshittery.

The IRS is Obeezy's Gestapo. A weapon to destroy enemies among the American people and to keep the rest in terrified acquiescence. Who's gonna enforce Obamacare? IRS agents. You were forced to buy it and the IRS will take your money to ensure you obey. And if you cross the regime, the IRS will target you for audit and if you have (or want to have) tax-exempt status, it will be stripped or denied. Who better to enforce redistribution of wealth than the Tax Man?

We all knew that conservative and Tea Party groups, under orders from the DOJ and Eric Holder, were being targeted by the IRS and audited at a rate more than 10 times higher than anybody else. And we all knew it was a crock when after it came out the targeting was NOT the result of two rogue low-level agents at the Cincinnati IRS offices, as was the claim. That sham had a maximum effective range of zero feet coming after the Obeezy Regime blamed the Benghazi attack on a YouTube video and left four Americans to die (but that's another scandal and a blog for another day...).

So we get the chick who was the director of the IRS Exempt Organizations Unit, one Lois G. Lerner, on the carpet in front of Congress wanting the truth, which we knew wasn't gonna be forthcoming. And she professed her innocence before pleading the Fifth, which actually negated her ability to use the protection of the Fifth Amendment (by making a statement of innocence), a point well-made most vehemently by South Carolina Congressional representative Trey Gowdy. That dude has quickly become one of the biggest names in Conservative politics and a force to be reckoned with lest he open a can of Constitutional Law Whoopass on you. But Lois takes the Fifth and refuses to talk, and so they subpoena her emails.

It should surprise no one that she sucks at math yet worked for the IRS. After all, the original Obama Secretary of the Treasury was a tax cheat who couldn't fathom Turbo Tax.

Guess what? Said emails for an entire two year period that conveniently covered the dates of the targeting are GONE. Seems that according to the IRS Lerner's hard drive crashed and the mails were lost, when the drive was recycled and destroyed.

Seriously? You expect us to believe this? Of course you do; you think everyone is stupid and in awe of The Great Obeezy and His Donkey Party, and those that question Him are Racist Un-American Terrorists.

Emails may indeed be stored on a local hard drive but they don't exist just there. Those are just saved copies. They exist on SERVERS. And by law, corporations (including the Feral Gummint™) have to hold on to email correspondences for a certain period of time in their email servers for situations that include, say, subpoenas. If you check your Gmail or Yahoo email from your laptop, that email isn't on your laptop, it's on their servers. Same with your phone. You must think we're like a three year old who thinks there are tiny people inside the TV or inside the radio and that's what makes them work. The IRS expects fully for you and me to produce every shred of paperwork and receipts for the past seven years instantly upon their command and if we used an excuse the equivalent of The Dog Ate My Tax Return, we'd be in federal prison trying not to get ass-raped in the showers and looking out for someone trying to shank us with a shiv in the laundry room. But they can just say oops we lost 'em?

While conveniently losing removing and subsequently destroying Lerner's hard drive, at best you destroyed some locally downloaded and stored mails. The actual mails are on the IRS mail servers. Well, there were... I'm sure by now those have been scoured clean too just like magic. It was probably like 1945-circa Berlin with the Nazis burning Holocaust and other war crimes files while the Allies closed in.

And current IRS Commissioner John Koskinen was all smug while being questioned this week about the emails until Trey Gowdy and Paul Ryan among others took him apart limb from limb.

I am sitting here listening to this testimony. I just – I don’t believe it,” Ryan said to Koskinen. “That’s your problem. Nobody believes you.”

Ryan accused the IRS of misleading Congress by previously claiming that no targeting occurred and then that progressive groups were also targeted by the IRS. “All of those things have been proven untrue,” Ryan said.

“You bury in a 27-page letter to the Senate asking for them to conclude the investigation that you’ve lost Lois Lerner’s emails…Monday, our investigators ask your agency if any other hard drives crashed” and Koskinen finally admitted that six other IRS officials under investigation also had their hard drives crash.

“We told you on Monday,” Koskinen said about the six additional hard drive crashes.

“You told us on Monday because we asked you! We asked you if any other hard drives crashed. This is unbelievable. You told us in May you were going to give us all of Lois Lerner’s emails and you learned in February that this crashed,” Ryan said.

“I’m not asking you a question, I’m making a statement…You can turn [taxpayers'] lives upside down. You ask taxpayers to hand over seven years of their own taxpayer information in case they’re ever audited, and you can’t keep six months of emails?,” Ryan said.

“This is not being forthcoming. This is being misleading again. This is a pattern of abuse, a pattern of behavior that is not giving us any confidence that this agency is being impartial. I don’t believe you. This is incredible,” Ryan said.

Gowdy also lit into former IRS lawyer Jennifer O’Connor to ask what the loss of the emails looks like outside the  Beltway to the average American.

O’Connor, a White House lawyer who previously presided over the IRS’s effort to collect Lerner’s emails, was grilled by Gowdy over the search’s parameters, which he claimed were unnecessarily limited.

“What’s wrong with the search terms being ‘to’ and ‘from?’” he asked.

“Well that would get you everything –” O’Connor began.

“Right, that’s my point,” Gowdy interrupted. “Why reduce it? If you want access to all the information, if you want access to all of the truth, why are you reducing the search terms? Why not just ‘to Lois Lerner’ and ‘from Lois Lerner?’”

Congressman Gowdy got particularly heated when trying to explain to O’Connor why the failure to retain Lerner’s emails was so outrageous.

“What negative inference would you draw — if you were just one of our fellow citizens watching this,” Gowdy said. “You know that initially there was a denial of targeting. You know that she picked a very obscure [American Bar Association] conference to disclose that targeting had taken place.”

“You know that initially it was blamed on two rogue agents — in fact, Jay Carney perpetuated that myth,” he continued. “You know that Lois Lerner took the Fifth Amendment. You know that the president of the United States said there was not a smidgen of corruption. And now you’re told that the evidence doesn’t exist, the emails don’t exist.”

“What negative inference — if you were just a regular citizen sitting at home watching this, and you’ve got that litany of failed defenses, those false, exculpatory statements, and now you’re told that evidence doesn’t exist — what negative inference would you draw?” the lawmaker angrily concluded.

Hey, Government: even the most base and meek among us are able to partake of cloud-based online backup services like Carbonite. I bet they'd cut you a cheap bulk rate too. Or, just get the records from the NSA. They spy on EVERYONE. Hell, they know what I had for dinner last July so I'm sure that vast warehouse of theirs out in Utah has Auntie Lois' emails on a server or a thumb drive.

It's beautiful to see the Left unraveling over this, crumbling under the weight of all their scandals and illegal operations. Even their lapdog propaganda machine in the Lamestream Media is questioning the veracity of the junta's excuses and dealings. I sure as hell don't expect them to embrace the Right any time soon but it's admittedly nice to see that even they have a threshold for bullshit.

What's the Clintonian Definition of "Broke"?

Really. You've GOT to be kidding me.

Early last week former Secretary of State/former Senator/former First Lady of the United States, Madame Hillary Rodham Clinton, had the audacity to say that when they left the White House that they, meaning her and her husband and all his mistresses, were not only broke but in debt.

Digest that a minute. Chew on it before you choke. Don't laugh or some may spill out on the floor. Much in the same way William Jefferson Clinton stood there under oath during his impeachment and wanted us to define "is" versus "was" in regards to whether he was banging his intern, one must ask Hillary to define "broke" and "in debt". Most people I know get by on a combined income between spouses of under $70,000 a year....WAY under.

USA Today estimated in 2013 that Bill Clinton had a net worth of $55 million and counting. The former president makes millions of dollars a year in speaking fees. More recent estimates put his net worth at $80 million and he and wife Hillary's combined net worth anywhere from $100 to $200 million.

Now, technically, Bill and Hillary Clinton were in debt when they left the White House. Financial forms filed for 2000 show assets between $781,000 and almost $1.8 million -- and liabilities between $2.3 million and $10.6 million, mostly for legal bills. And within just one year, their financial troubles were effectively gone. Hillary Clinton's Senate disclosure forms show that in 2001, they reported earning nearly $12 million.

Pretty much everyone I know would dearly love to be as broke as the Clintons were when they left the White House. I had a problem with my car this week and wasn't quite sure what it was, and the mechanic down the street came & got it & took it to his shop to diagnose. I spent the bulk of my vacation this past week around the house, not wanting to go anywhere and spend money I didn't have to spare if my car needed something major done. I have no cushion for emergencies because despite all the rosy economic news the White House feeds their pet monkeys in the Lamestream Media, my employer keeps cutting hours while gas prices and food prices and utility prices continue to creep on up. I know damned well I'm not the only person feeling the money pinch in ObamaLand. The only people doing well are Limousine Liberals and those on welfare, who eat better than I do.

As a former President, Bill is entitled to staff & office expenses, health insurance & medical care (not that cheap Obamacare crap, either) and a Secret Service detail for life, in addition to a pension of what started as over $150,000 and the current pension for former Presidents is now at over $200,000.

Under the Former Presidents Act, the Secretary of the Treasury pays a taxable pension to a former President. Former Presidents receive a pension equal to the pay that the head of an executive department (Executive Level I) would be paid, as of 2014 $201,700. The pension begins immediately after a President's departure from office.

Transition funding for the expenses of leaving office is available for seven months. It covers office space, staff compensation, communications services, and printing and postage associated with the transition. Private office staff and related funding is provided by the Administrator of the General Services Administration. Persons employed under this subsection are selected by and responsible only to the former president for the performance of their duties. Each former president fixes basic rates of compensation for persons employed for him (or her), not exceeding an annualized total of $150,000 for the first 30 months and $96,000 thereafter.

So, right after they left the White House, wealthy Clinton pal Terry McAuliffe (now magically the Governor of Virginia) ponied up to get Bill & Hill a $1.3 million dollar loan to but their $1.7 million mansion in Chappaqua, NY so Hillary could run for Senate. Oh yeah, Hilly has that Senate pension package combined with her pension from her years as Obeezy's alleged Secretary of State. You know, back when she and Obeezy left four Americans to die in Benghazi and blamed a YouTube video, then said "What difference does it make?"...but that's a blog for another day. Like I said above, most of us would dearly love to be as broke as the Clintons were when they left the White House.

Show up, say a few aw-shucks-huckleberry folksy anecdotes, leer at a few coeds, and pocket 200 grand each time? Yes, please. Attach your name to a ghost-written tome of liberal propaganda and pocket seven figures? Yes, please, all day long. Because y'all were broke, and had a baby girl to send to college, right? Because unlike your kid who toils away working at The Dollar General or waiting tables at Hooters while attending the local community college, that wasn't an option for Former First Offspring Chelsea Victoria Clinton. She received an undergraduate degree at Stanford University and later earned master's degrees from Oxford University and Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, and a D-Phil from the University of Oxford in 2014. Seriously? A freakin' doctorate in philosophy in this day & age? How stereotypically liberal. Almost as useless as an art history degree, found on the wall of every loft and studio flat occupied by a Starbucks frappe-flinger.

Plus, they had to stockpile money against things like future lawsuits and rape defense cases against Bill, and for little Chelsea's eventual wedding. Because while not as much of a filthy spectacle as the Kanye Kardashian bacchanalia, they still dropped FIVE MILLION on the wedding of their only progeny. We left the White House broke, and still put on a five million dollar wedding.

Chelsea Clinton hasn't been on NBC News for FOUR months but still earns $50,000 a month even though the show she was on, Rock Center, was scrapped. It's reported that she makes $600,000 a year from NBC as a special correspondent. By comparison, her salary is higher than both of the last two editors of the New York Times. The paycheck comes in handy, since she and her husband are expecting and just bought a $10.5 million apartment next to New York's Madison Square Park last spring. I'm sure from those lofty heights she can look down at all the homeless veterans sleeping on steam grates. At least until they install spikes to keep the homeless away. But Chelsea is also a landlord of sorts iin her own right since seemingly Bill & Hill rent their mansion from her.

Huh?

It seems Bill and Hillary Clinton have been using a sketchy, dodgy, but legal tax loophole to evade the so-called 'death tax' that they both worked to raise, according to news reports published on Tuesday.

In order to shield all that newly-minted wealth from the federal government's rapacious tax collectors at the IRS, they're ducking the inheritance estate tax using a financial planning strategy to shift ownership of their houses to a private trust, and then to Chelsea.

This leaves them free to reap the tax advantage of making such a generous gift before they die, while they rent the property back from her at a bargain price.

The shell game will put any increases in the properties' value, the capital gains, outside of their estates, and therefore out of the IRS's reach when they die. It will also exclude most of the homes' values from the IRS's calculation that will determine how much of their estates is taxable.

Now, normally, I can almost applaud screwing the IRS out of taking half of everything you will to your kids after you die. I mean, you bust your ass all your life and want to give it to your kids or dog or some waitress with big cans at the corner diner when you shuffle off your mortal coil, and the revenue vultures wanna come pick you clean and take half to fill their empty coffers, empty because they keep doling out benefits to Democrat voters and illegal aliens and the Taliban. So, yeah, normally I'd applaud getting around the IRS on your death bed, but see the Clintons helped put these vulture laws into place. In their political lives, both Clintons have advocated for narrowing the loopholes that they are now leveraging.

In August 2000, shortly before he left office, Bill Clinton vetoed a congressional bill that would have eliminated the estate tax. He insisted that Congress should 'proceed on grounds of fiscal responsibility and fairness' instead.

Hillary has been more direct, arguing during the 2008 presidential campaign season for a change in federal law that would expose more of wealthy Americans' estates to the tax man.

As usual, limousine liberals talk a great line about taxing people and fairness, while they amble back to their palaces and their army of accountants and tax lawyers that help them stay rich....clowns like John Kerry, or Michael Moore, or Al Gore, or even that useless turd Bloomberg.

I hope all this stuff comes back to haunt you, Hillary. You think you're entitled to be President. You're just another elitist one-percenter, a scumbag liberal, and are not to be trusted. I've been saying that since 2007 when I chronicled some of your shady dealings, but I made the mistake at the time of joking "anyone but Hillary" not realizing we'd be stuck with Obastard for 8 years. This nation simply can NOT afford to put you in office.

When in doubt, blame guns

Last Friday a mentally unstable loner, all boo-hoo because he couldn't get laid, a child of privilege (Daddy was an assistant director on The Hunger Games) obsessed with money and status (Drove a BMW that cost more than most of us make in a year), went on a killing spree around Santa Barbara, California.

Drunken and self-absorbed party goers ignored him at a party he wandered into 10 months previously, and he was still nursing a grudge because when he tried to push party-goers who ignored him off a 10-foot ledge, they pushed back. This caused him to fall and break his ankle and (gasp!) lose his precious Gucci sunglasses. He vowed revenge, wrote a manifesto, babbled his diatribes on his YouTube channel, gave all sorts of warning signs that he was about to snap that no one figured out till it was too late, and finally lost it.

He stabbed his 3 room mates to death, emailed out his 137-page manifesto to parents, family friends, and at least one therapist, then drove to a sorority house where he shot & killed two girls. He then drives to a deli, gets out, shoots & kills another man, then continues driving along at high rates of speed shooting randomly at people and trying to run them over. When confronted by police, he exchanges fire with them, crashes his car and then blows his brains out.

The shell casings were still tinkling on the pavement when the Lamestream Media blamed the NRA and called for gun control. Because, after all, it was the NRA who forced this kid to kill people, right? All they can talk about is the guns, ignoring the fact that he stabbed three of his six victims. A full fifty percent of the dead were killed with a knife but no one is calling for knife control or knife-free zones or stricter knife laws or banning knives. He tried to run people over yet no one is calling for bans on cars and background checks to drive. It's all about the guns. It's a convenient event for the anti-gun lobby to capitalize on.

And of course, there's the war on women. Or as the leftists and feminazis will say, War on Womyn.... because of course this was all violence towards the female of the species... except that four of his six victims were men. A full 66% of the victims were men, but it's a war on women. Again, the Left and their Lamestream Media lapdogs latched onto a convenient political tool for their own benefit.

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) immediately called for even more gun control. I guess Blumenthal feels the need to be Joe Anti-Gun because of the Sandy Hook shooting. Perhaps someone should tell the good Senator that the people of Sandy Hook ended up voting to put armed guards in their schools. Perhaps someone should point out to Blumenthal that until he started shooting, Rodger actually complied with all of the gun control laws.

You see, the People's Republic of California has among the most draconian gun control laws in the country. The University of California Santa Barbara is a gun free zone.  None of that stopped a killer. Gun free zones don’t stop criminals. Just ask the people of Sandy Hook who put a guy with a gun in their gun free zones to protect them. Recently,  a Jack in the Box restaurant in Houston posted it was a gun free zone. Within a one month period, the restaurant was robbed at gunpoint three times. This gun free BBQ joint in NC was robbed at gunpoint. I guess the perps couldn't read; I'm sure had they known it was a gun free zone they would have picked another place to rob, right?

Advertising you are gun free or that people with legal valid concealed carry permits are not welcome to bring their weapon with them does two things: it tells criminals they can rob the place at will with no danger of getting ventilated, and it ensures a segment of the buying public gets discriminated against and will no longer patronize your establishment.

Americans are told that gun free zones and magazine round limits and background checks would stop mass murders.

Yet all of those were in place and they did not stop Elliot Rodger. When Elliot Rodger first began his rampage, he used a hammer and a knife to kill three men...his roommates. Then he used three 9mm semi-auto handguns to kill two women and to kill Chris Martinez. All of those guns were legally purchased with a background check. All three guns had ten round magazines. In fact the two killers at Columbine had ten-round magazines for one of their weapons. Thirteen of them in fact. The killer at Virginia tech had 17 magazines for his weapons. Most of them were 10-round magazines, though some were fifteen. Any idea how long it takes to change a magazine? I can do it pretty damned fast. With practice you can drop one and insert another in about 2 and a half seconds.

Keep on calling for background checks as if they don't exist. They do exist. I had one done for every firearm I've owned. Elliot Rodger passed a background check for every weapon he carried. And there's no such thing as a gun-show loophole. That's a complete and utter fabrication by the Left and their anti-gun propagandists.

The smoke had barely cleared when the father of one of the slain men immediately cast blame. Richard Martinez, the father of 20-year-old student Christopher Martinez, told reporters on Saturday, the day after the shooting: “Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA.”

“They talk about gun rights, what about Chris’s right to live? When will this insanity stop?” asked  Martinez, who said that his family was “lost and broken” before he broke down while showing pictures of his son smiling in a baseball outfit as a child.

He said: “When will enough people say, ‘Stop this madness.’ We do not have to live like this. Too many people have died. We should say to ourselves, ‘not one more’.”

I'll cut the guy a modicum of slack because 12 hours previous his son was murdered and his body probably hadn't even be released yet to the mortuary. He was still in a state of shock. However...

The NRA is not to blame. I as a gun owner and shooting enthusiast am not to blame. Elliot Rodger is to blame. A mentally ill, spoiled kid who played violent video games all day. A kid whose dad helped direct a movie based on murderous violence between children as bloodsport. But the Left doesn't believe in personal responsibility, only blameshifting and persecution of those who don't believe the way they do, and so the scumbag liberals at The Daily Beast feed the low-info sheeple crap about how the NRA is an evil entity hell bent on murdering babies. Of course there's no mention about how most of the gun violence that occurs is in gun-controlled liberal zones....

This was a premeditated, long-planned murder spree by a mentally-ill kid. Just like Aurora. Just like Sandy Hook. Just like Virginia Tech. Connect the dots, and you'll see that law-abiding gun owners aren't to blame.

Racism as a Weapon

Yeah, I decided I'm not quite done with the whole Donald Sterling thing yet. I started it here.

As I've previously stated, I don't condone his remarks. That sort of anachronistic racism in this day & age is a deplorable thing. But some things are still nagging at me that the Lamestream Media wants to ignore.

He said what he said in the privacy of his own home. He was recorded likely without his knowledge given his alleged dementia which in the People's Republik of Kalifornia is a crime and certainly inadmissable in a court case.

However there will be no court case here as the NBA is using this as an excuse to stage a coup, a hostile takeover of sorts, to unseat a massively unpopular owner and replace the Sterlings with someone who will more readily do their bidding, including moving the team to another city where the League can reap more filthy lucre and not have two teams in the same city competing for fans.

The NBA claims that Sterling caused damage to the League with his mere words. Oh, by the way, the doddering old git said "black people". He didn't hurl any epithets. He didn't say anything along the lines of the slurs one expects from racists like "coon" or "spook" or the dreaded N-word...instead the players just refer to each other as "nigga" all up and down the court but that's allowable.

So because an old, mentally-enfeebled Jewish billionaire said he didn't want his sugar-baby mistress bringing black people to his games, the League will shed fans? America will cease to watch all NBA games, TV contracts will be ripped up, no one will buy jerseys or sneakers or hats or video games and the League will go belly up because this guy said "black people"? I doubt that very, very much. Hell, that cursive-illiterate kid on the stand at the Zimmerman trial referred to white people as Crackers...Creepy-Ass Crackers at that... and that was okay. It's okay because racism is only racism if it's against blacks. If it's directed at Dem White Debbils it's just Whitey getting what's coming to right the wrongs of 150 years ago.

Her shoes cost more than I make in a week.

While having racist thoughts is a shame, it's not a crime. See, Donald Sterling committed no actual crime under the statutes of the state in which he resides, although his little chippy may have. She'll get away with it scot-free and walk, and then write a tell-all book (ghost-written because she's seemingly dumb as a bowl of hair) and she'll rake in the bucks and move on to another sugar daddy while the Sterlings (who ain't hurting for money) lose their team. Sterling wasn't arrested because he committed no crime. This sets the precedent for people to lose their primary sources of income based on thoughts and words and not actual criminal actions.

What should instead be harming the League is the spate of players who do commit actual crimes, who get arrested, who make the NBA and their clubs look bad in the press and in the eyes of little kids who mistakenly look at sports figures as role models, and then just go on playing the game and making themselves and others filthy rich.

Like who?

Kendrick Perkins of the Oklahoma City Thunder. On October 10, 2013 While leaving a nightclub, Perkins’ car bumped into another automobile.  An altercation followed, where Perkins punched both a male and a female passenger in the head, and was subsequently arrested for assault.  This was his second career arrest, both with the Thunder. He's currently playing in the NBA Western Conference championships.

Back in April, police were called to Dante Cunningham’s home at 4am where they found his girlfriend with marks consistent with a physical assault, and arrested him. He allegedly choked her for 15-20 seconds and slammed her against a wall.  This was his second arrest since becoming a pro and first in nearly 3 years.(This wasn't his first rodeo. In April of 2011 after being pulled over for speeding and reckless driving, police discovered marijuana and a loaded BB gun and placed Cunningham under arrest. He kept on playing for the Charlotte Bobcats.) Just three days later, Cunningham was again arrested for violating a protection order and sending her threatening text messages. Cunningham kept right on playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In February of this year Raymond Felton of the Knicks kept right on playing after an arrest on two gun charges.Back in September of last year Jared Sullinger of the Boston Celtics was arrested for assault & battery, malicious destruction of property and intimidation of a witness. Sullinger turned himself in several days after  assaulting his girlfriend following an argument after she found evidence on his cell phone that he was cheating on her.  His girlfriend started packing her bags to leave when Sullinger pushed her onto a bed, pinned her, then tossed her onto the ground before smashing her cell phone. And young Jared continued to play for the Celtics.

Dennis Rodman had a stellar NBA career. He has been arrested twice for domestic violence, twice for drunken driving, obstructing justice, domestic dispute, and had police come to his house over 70 times for noise violations at his Newport Beach house. But he's so beloved a figure that he's an unofficial ambassador to North Korea.

How many arrests did Allen Iverson have? LOTS. And kept on playing.

DeShawn Stevenson was arrested, accused of and convicted of statutory rape. In 2001 as a rookie with the Utah Jazz, Stevenson admitted to taking a 14-year-old girl back to a hotel room, getting her drunk and having consensual sex with her. He continued to play on various teams till the end of the 2012/2013 season, and won an NBA Championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2010.

And while he wasn't convicted, Kobe Bryant was arrested in connection to rape. He's continued to rake in tens of millions over the years, mostly using it to lavish his wife with gifts to keep her off his ass.

The list goes on and on and on. However, it's not just the NBA. The NFL is guilty of it too.

Michael Boley was arrested for child abuse, still plays for the Bengals. There's a video of Ray Rice dragging his unconscious fiancee from an elevator and he still plays for the Ravens. Akib Talib has a series of assault arrests and keeps on playing for the Broncos.A month after he was suspended four games for violating the substance abuse policies, Darrell Washington was arrested for the aggravated assault of his girlfriend, and kept on playing for the Cardinals. Aldon Smith had a DUI arrest in 2012, a pot and DUI arrest after a wreck in 2013, and then three felony counts of possession of an assault weapon, and keeps on playing for the 49ers. Michael Vick tortured dogs to death and was welcomed back to the NFL. After serving jail time for weapons charges stemming from the time when he shot himself in the leg, the league welcomed back Plaxico Burress.

Baseball? Yeah, them too. Yasiel Puig has a spate of reckless driving arrests and there's no way in hell the Dodgers are going to bench him. Speaking of the Dodgers, another of their players, pitcher Chris Perez, plead no contest after he and his wife were arrested after receiving a shipment of pot in the mail. While with the Dodgers, infielder Justin Sellers was arrested for reckless driving when he was doing wheelies on his motorcycle in a residential neighborhood and then fled the cops when they arrived. Now he's in Cleveland with the Indians, the team Perez was with when he got the pot in the mail. Most baseball players just get busted for DUI and stuff like that. But Delmon Young was arrested  in New York when he was playing for the Detroit Tigers in 2012. Around 1:30 in the morning Young was standing outside a hotel and a group of four tourists staying at the same hotel were approached by a panhandler wearing a yarmulke and a Star of David around his neck. As the group of tourists walked to the hotel doors Young allegedly yelled anti-Semitic epithets. Young then got into an altercation with the group of tourists. One of the tourists sustained scratches to his elbows. But it can't be racism because Young is black and it was just a Jewish panhandler...right? No need to make this a big deal. That's why he still plays for the Orioles and Donald Sterling is going to lose his team.

And to be fair, even my beloved sport of hockey has dirty hands. Patrick Kane was arrested after he and two friends beat up a cabbie over twenty cents and he's still in the Stanley Cup race. Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov kept on playing this year after an early-season arrest on domestic violence. Following an arrest for operating a boat under the influence, Dustin Byfuglien continues to play for the Jets. The NHL allowed Dany Heatley to come back after he wrecked his Ferrari 360 Modena speeding through Atlanta, a wreck that killed team mate Dan Snyder.

But the NBA is, in my opinion, using racism as their weapon of choice to topple a guy they simply don't like and take his team. And while it's hard as hell to feel sorry for a philandering billionaire who's taken a team he bought for $12 million and parleyed it into a franchise that will sell for over a billion, Uncle Sucker is gonna ass-rape him for Capital Gains Taxes on the money hell make on the sale, so the taxes he'll pay out on the sale will likely be twice what he PAID for the team.

Some say former Clipper Grant Hill is putting together a team of backers to buy it. That will give the NBA a coveted black owner. Oprah Winfrey, David Geffen and Larry Ellison are rumored to be looking at the team.. That trio is pretty much the definition of deep pockets. Any one of them could buy a team and Ellison has tried in the past and together they have money and star power. Oprah knows how to play the race card, gives the NBA a black female owner, and no one tells Queen O no.

Who else is in the rumor mill? Rick Caruso. A developer whose name is not known all that well outside Los Angeles, but in L.A. he’s the guy that owns the Grove. He was in the running to buy the Dodgers but lost out. Patrick Soon-Shiong is another name not known outside L.A. but the medical researcher and business man is the richest man in Los Angeles, worth $9.8 billion. That's even more than Oprah is worth. He already owners four percent of Lakers, so he has been through the league’s ownership vetting process. However owning part or all of two competing franchises may be a conflict of interests.

The current front-runner is Magic Johnson and the Guggenheim group. Also known as the poetic justice bid since the picture Sterling's girlfriend took that started this whole mess was with Johnson. This is a group the league would love to see own the team — they already own the Dodgers (having won a sealed bid process much like the league might use, beating out Rick Caruso mentioned above.), they have one of the most iconic personalities in Los Angeles as the front man, they have the money via the other guys in the group, and it serves as a bigg EFF YOU kick in the balls for Donald Sterling as he is pushed out the door.

My money however is on Yao Ming. Yao is getting together a group of Chinese investors to make a bid.  The former Houston Rockets All-Star center owns the Shanghai Sharks in his native country and has maintained close ties to the NBA through the league's various initiatives in Asia. Yao was seriously interested in purchasing the recently-sold Milwaukee Bucks, sources say, but dropped out of the bidding when outgoing Milwaukee owner Herb Kohl made keeping the team in that city mandatory for any new owner. The Bucks were ultimately sold to Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry for a purchase price of $550 million.

But why Yao? It gives the NBA a minority owner who was also a player, and opens up China and it's 1.35 billion people and huge economy even farther to the NBA's lust for money and power. If they move the team to Seattle, there's a huge Asian population in the Northwest too. Tell me they aren't just taking action because Sterling is a racist? PLEASE. Don't be naive.

A lifetime achievement award from the NAACP and was about to get a second one before this fracas, a black coach and a team that's 90% black that he pays millions to in a sport wildly popular with the black population of America, and a mistress who is half black. If he's that racist ( and by that racist I mean so racist he's damaged an entire sports league and caused PTSD-like symptoms in a wide swath of humanity) why even associate with that which he so detests? Makes no sense.

Racism. The new weapon to get your way whether it be in business or politics. Allege racism, call the press, and get what you want. The new American Way.

How to blow an election with a single Tweet

They say that any publicity is good publicity. Actually, the original quote comes from Irish poet and author Brendan Behan (1923-1964) who said,  "There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary.". However, in many cases bad publicity is just that; bad publicity.

Someone should remind Trish Causey of this.

Who?

Trish Causey is an artist and grassroots activist, a single mom running for Congress. According to her, she wants to be the first woman to represent her state in Congress.

That 's all well and good. Trish Causey is also a Progressive Liberal Democrat, who thinks all Conservatives are rich fat cats or at the very least puppets of the rich elite.

When not  trying to oust the current Congressional Representative in Mississippi District 4, Republican Steven Palazzo (who won his last election in 2012 with 64.1% of the vote), Trish hosts a website called Aroused Woman where she seeks to sexually enlighten and awaken us all. Thanks, Trish. That must go over like gangbusters among a conservative voter base like MS-04. I'm no prude; FAR FAR FAR from it. In fact, I'm a bit freaky at times. However, I'm not running for Congress.

Trish caused a bit of a stir today on Twitter when she decided to whack the hornet's nest with a stick by tweeting THIS, which is what passes for genteel civility on the Left:

Seriously? The very same Congress you hope to be elected to just formed a Select Committee to investigate how your hero and deity , Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama (Blessed be His Name), and his pack of cronies like Queen Pantsuit Hillary Clinton, left 4 Americans including an Ambassador to die in Benghazi and then LIED about it and tried to brush it off. And you decide to tweet THIS and expect to not only be taken seriously, but you expect to be applauded for your crassness and think donations will now pour in? (She has a funding goal of $200,000 and has so far raised $1,363.

Well, at least you're getting some publicity. No one knew who the hell you were before today, and now you're riding the free publicity gravy train. However, the closest to Congress you're gonna get is by being a fluffer at the DNC Convention. Enjoy. #TrueStory

How To Lose an NBA Team In One Fell Swoop

In case you missed it, over in Syria this week Muslim extremists are crucifying teenagers who refuse to adopt Islam, are ripping unborn children from the wombs of pregnant Christians and hanging the dead fetuses from trees by their umbilical cords, and massacring entire villages to later use the heads of their victims as soccer balls, but the lackadaisical US media is more intent on the crucifixion of some doddering old racist who owns an NBA franchise.

At least it took CNN off their non-stop 24-hour Malaysian Airlines coverage and prognosticating over Kim Kardashian's airbrushed ass-selfies and pending nuptials with noted douchecanoe Kanye West. Not that this is new; they devoted all manner of time to reports that George Clooney got engaged rather than report that an Oregon power plant was burning medical waste, including aborted fetuses, to heat homes. But I digress.

Yes, what Don Sterling (born Donald Tokowitz) said was reprehensible. In no way do I condone his racist remarks. To tell his girlfriend (or is she? She denies she is, and he's legally still married to Rochelle Stein, since 1957) not to bring black people to games kinda bites the hand that feeds him. And it has fed him well, as he is worth a staggering $1.9 BILLION dollars, a fortune he started as a divorce & personal injury lawyer and then a slumlord property owner. He's got a long history of being a scumbag, a racist, a sexist, and all-around general-purpose turd. However, being a turd isn't against the law.

Like I said, it bites the hand that feeds him, and the hands he feeds. The team he owns, the Los Angeles Clippers, has a payroll this year of a little over $73 million. Of his 14 active starters right now, 11 are black players. While he has racist views, he shells out millions to black players and black employees. His team's black coach, Doc Rivers, has a 3-year $21 million contract. For such a racist he's received a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP and was slated to get a second award from them until this week.

So, he gets recorded making a racist rant, a recording he may not have consented to, in his own home. In California recording a conversation without the consent of the recorded parties is illegal. The recording was made by a woman who has been sued previously for fraud by Sterling's wife and has stated she'd get even with Sterling. So he says what he says in the privacy of his own home, not in a public forum, the woman then peddles her tape of him to the public, the story is broken by TMZ Sports, and a few days later Sterling is banned for life by the NBA, is fined $2.5 million bucks, and will now be forced to sell the team. How convenient for the NBA that they get to remove a hugely unpopular owner now that his long-abysmal team is finally hot and in the playoffs, making it a hot commodity for sale. It's no secret the NBA hates having two teams in the LA market and would love to move the Clippers to Seattle. With Sterling out of the picture, they can manipulate matters to their liking. Billionaires from David Geffen to Queen Oprah are already lining up to buy.

Again, what Sterling said was wrong, but it was not illegal. He broke no laws, yet his team is being taken from him, and if it were me being banned for life from a sport where I owned a team, I'd tell them to go piss up a rope before paying a $2.5 million dollar fine for saying something in the privacy of my own home. In essence, he exercised his First Amendment right to free speech in his own home and because his speech was unpopular, he is being denied his main source of income, his property (ie: the team) is more or less being confiscated from him, and a sports league is going to skim two and a half million clams off the top of the deal when they sell his team to move it to another market where they can make more money off of it. And you know damn well they'll force the good taxpaying people of Seattle to build a brand-new stadium for them that the NBA will dictate terms of operation for. You know, stuff like, the NBA team has dibs on every date during the season so if you want to hold a concert or other event here, you better hope the date where that band is in town ain't a game night because we ain't budging.

Furthermore, if this was a case where a black owner, or athlete, or rapper, or actor, or some other black celebrity mouthpiece said something anti-white, would it even make the news? Not bloody likely. Racism directed against whites is either laughed off or ignored completely. Oprah gets in the news crying racism but when it's found to be a misunderstanding on HER part, the story is buried. Spike Lee tweets out the address for a couple who he thought was George Zimmerman's parents so that people could ostensibly kill them, and nothing happens. Samuel L. Jackson admits openly he only voted for Obama because he's black, and he's applauded for his honesty instead of being called out for racism. That girl at the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman trial who could barely speak a coherent sentence and can't read cursive despite being a high school graduate calls white people crackers and is held up as a pillar of the community. Jay-Z is spotted court-side at a basketball game wearing a racist medallion around his neck, and no one will dare say boo.

But people lost their MINDS over Sterling's remarks. The Clippers protested by playing their game the other night with their jerseys on inside out to obscure their team logo and the next night the Miami Heat wore theirs inside out as a sign of solidarity. So, lemme get this straight, if a player wears non-sanctioned sneakers or the wrong color socks or something non-team related on their uniforms or helmets in most leagues they get fined. The NBA has fined people over their shoes, their jersey numbers, the length of their shorts. But no one is doling out fines for wearing your jersey inside out to obscure the team logo. I guess since they all did it as a team they were, in fact, uniform...or the league is just being politically correct. And since the only way Spike Lee gets his name in the news anymore is by stirring the racism pot as he sits court-side at games, of course he had to issue a statement saying Sterling has a slave owner mentality and sees his players as slaves. Hey Spike (Oh, wait, Shelton...Your given name is Shelton), your last film made less than  a total of $2.2 million at the theaters and there are five black players on the Clippers that made more this year than that, so that's not exactly slavery. Chris Paul got over $18 million this year and over the next four years over $20 million, over $21 million, nearly $22.5 million, and over $24 million respectively. Not exactly slave wages there, Shelton.

I'm not a basketball fan, but I do wish the Clippers the best of luck. They're a long-suffering franchise with long-suffering fans, due to suffering Don Sterling's crappy ownership. Not the best way to exact an ownership change and if they move I'll feel bad for their LA fan base who'll be losing their team. At least they'll still have non-stop Kardashian coverage.
