So, Friday was the Fourth of July. To most of the world that's all it was, just another Friday, unless they happen to be following the World Cup games in Brazil, in which case it was an ordinary Friday punctuated by football soccer games.

Here in the good ole' US of A, most people had the day off to celebrate Independence Day, a national holiday set aside to celebrate that day in 1776 when our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and began a war against our English masters to gain our freedom as a nation.

Most of my fellow Americans slept in, woke up late, and headed off to the lake or the beach or to a giant family cookout, swilling beers and inhaling burgers until the sun went down and the fireworks began. In many cases the fireworks began early and in earnest as folks set off their own pyrotechnics in the confines of their yards, scaring the bejeezus out of household pets and causing many a combat veteran to twitch nervously and sweat profusely.

Not me; I worked. I was up at 2:15 am and out the door thirty minutes later on my commute in. I started at four and got off at one in the afternoon. Someone had to work so that everyone dependent upon the government (like the majority of my neighbors) could stay at home celebrating their freedoms, like freedom from work, freedom from responsibility, freedom to enjoy their Obama Phones and EBT cards and Section 8 and Medicaid and heating assistance and cooling assistance and every other known assistance and entitlement program paid for by those of us who weren't at home with the family enjoying the day relaxing and celebrating. When I got home I was pretty wiped out so I took a fitful nap and woke up a couple hours after I laid down. Right about the same time that my neighborhood started sounding like frikkin' Anbar Province...ain't got jobs but they got money for fireworks. 'Murica!

We used to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th. We celebrated the day when our Founding Fathers rose up to throw off the yoke of a tyrannical government that didn't represent them, rulership by an elite class headed by an all-powerful monarch, oppressive taxation enforced at the tip of the sword and barrel of the gun, and fought as free men to achieve their own country with a limited, small central government bound by Constitutional checks and balances so as not to encroach upon the natural rights of the citizens who elected it to serve them..

Now we celebrate Dependence Day in America. We revel in government entitlements and a society that has become dependent upon the government like baby birds with their mouths open awaiting puked up nourishment. Over the past few years, the America I grew up in, the America I served in the Army, the America my family came to from their homelands, has become a broken shell.


Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 per plate campaign fund-raising event.

Only in America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black. Over 40% of all federal entitlements go to black Americans; 3 times the rate that go to whites, and 5 times the rate that go to Hispanics.

Only in America could we have had two of the people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (former head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the House Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes. In fact, the entire Administration is riddled with tax cheats and other corruption.

Only in America can we have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media and liberals react by worrying that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash from said attacks.

Only in America would we make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while the Left discusses letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically' become American citizens.

Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking to the country's Constitution be thought of as "extremists." And racists...

Only in America could you need to present a driver's license to cash a check, board an airplane, buy alcohol, or even get the power turned on to your house, but not to vote, and be branded a racist for even suggesting the need.

Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company (Marathon Oil) averages 12% profit. They take all the risk and the US government takes by force 18.4% to 24.4% in gas tax for taking zero risk and doing absolutely nothing for that revenue other than creating a law to force the oil companies to give it to them. So the government makes 6% to 12% more profit than the oil companies themselves on gas sales for doing absolutely nothing but using force.

Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE, and the Left complains that it still doesn't have nearly enough money for all their programs.

Only in America could the so called "rich people", who pay 86% of all income taxes, be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all .

Only in America could law-abiding gun owners be characterized as lunatics while the Attorney General sells guns to Mexican drug lords to be used against Americans.

Only in America would Left-controlled schools and other institutions ban people from flying the American flag or wearing a patriotic t-shirt because it might offend people who came to this country to reap its benefits.

Only in America could illegal aliens be offered all the benefits of a citizen like government entitlements, driver's licences, tuition assistance and in-state tuition at universities while working under the table, paying no taxes, and sending most of that money overseas.

Only in America would veterans who fought for the freedoms of America be ostracized as terrorists, live homeless on steam grates, and be denied medical care on secret waiting lists at VA hospitals while lagabouts and illegals get treated as heroes.

Only in America could a Muslim terrorist kill 13 people on a military base while yelling "Allah Akbar" and have it called "workplace violence".

Only in America would the administration leave citizens to die in a terrorist attack and blame it on a YouTube video.

Only in America would the government promote an electric car with a 40-mile range, priced so high that only the wealthy can afford it as a status symbol, and then give the same wealthy people a huge tax break for buying it.

Only in America could politicians think that making more laws will fix the fact that current laws are either ignored or simply not enforced.

Only in America can the government expect people to believe the two years' worth of emails vanished on a broken hard drive to cover up the IRS systematically targeting people it dislikes.

Only in America could people in designer clothes, drinking designer coffee while using designer laptops and smartphones, protest corporations by shitting on cop cars, burning American flags, taking all manner of drugs and raping each other in parks, and causing giant garbage mountains.

Only in America could a filthy rich politician burn holes in the ozone layer with his giant mansion and jet trips all over the world lying about global warming and extorting millions from corporations for allegedly burning holes in the ozone layer.

Only in America could a filthy rich politician dictate to grown adults in a free society how much salt or soda they can ingest.

Only in America would the wife of a politician think she can dictate to a free society what they may eat while all the while eating Wagyu beef on vacation after vacation.

Only in America, speaking of vacations, could the average citizen be unable to afford a vacation while their President spends hundreds of millions on vacations around the globe.

Only in America could we be trillions in debt while still handing out billions to every begging nation with its hands out.

Only in America could the leader of the nation boast that he'll bankrupt entire industries and cause your bills to skyrocket and receive thunderous applause on the way to the golf links.

Only in America could we send money and soldiers to every Third World backwater to solve their problems while we fail to secure our own borders.

Only in America could we demand free dope for the poor while homeless veterans grow in number every day.

We live in a country where illegals pour across the border carrying all manner of infectious diseases that doctors are warned to keep quiet about under fear of arrest while the illegals are hailed as heroes and will be given the royal treatment, but a legally-visiting South African videographer is facing arrest for flying a camera-equipped drone above a fireworks display over water in Florida.





Jos Stiglingh flew his DJI Phantom 2 drone equipped with a GoPro Hero Silver camera into the midst of a West Palm Beach, Florida fireworks display, and the resulting footage is stunning - but also illegal. While authorities are cool with disease-ridden illegals streaming across the border like ants to the picnic, they frown upon tiny unmanned remote-controlled helicopters flying through fireworks. I argue that the exclusion zone rules in effect during fireworks displays are there to keep manned aircraft from accidental harm and to keep manned boats out from underneath falling cinders. Were the drone to be downed by a firework, well no one is on it to be hurt and ostensibly there's no one below it, right? At the worst, the owner is out a few hundred bucks for a drone and camera. Where the penalty for invading the United States by crossing the border illegally is free food, housing, medical care, amnesty, three years of tax-exempt status to start a business and eventual education benefits whether you even bother to learn English or not and having everyone cater to your home culture while taking every measure to not offend you with an American flag, the penalty for violating a safety zone is a $40,000 fine and for willful violations it is a Class D felony, punishable by at least five, but no more than 10 years in prison.



What the hell happened, America?  Detroit was once the world's richest city and is now America's first Third World city. We lose more Americans in Chicago on an average weekend to homicides than we do in Afghanistan. We used to be The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Now we're The Land of the Sheep and Home of the Slaves.


But who cares? Just keep the free stuff coming from Washington.

Below is the entire text of the Declaration of Independence. I'm sure you'll find a plethora of parallels to modern times and today's tyrants in Washington to those grievances of yore.



IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

If you can't feed 'em, don't breed 'em

I just finished watching a report on my local TV news proudly touting that while school has ended, kids are still getting "healthy nutritious meals" because of the Summer Feeding Program. In Charleston County alone there's some 22,000 kids who get free or reduced price meals during the school year, and the taxpayer is responsible for feeding them on summer break too.

I mean, it's not the parents' responsibility any more but rather the solemn duty of Joe & Jane Taxpayer to raise these kids. Never mind that you've got your own family to feed, with food prices going up every day, or that you gotta put gas in your car as the price of gas goes up, gas that you need to get to your job that you gotta work to pay taxes to....raise other peoples' kids and pay for their housing and utilities and Obama phones.....you get the picture.

I remember, as a young elementary-aged kid, my then-single mom busted her ass to raise me. She refused to take government handouts even though I'm pretty sure I qualified for reduced price meals, if not free. She worked, and worked hard, instead of taking welfare & food stamps. Nowadays, despite the alleged welfare reform of the 90s, it's just as easy, if not easier, to milk the government teat and maintain a generational welfare lifestyle where in order to get a pay raise, you simply squirt out another kid.

The kids get free pizza and Domino's gets a tax break and free advertising.

 Generally speaking, if you're getting the proverbial free lunch, your family is On The System, likely getting welfare checks or reloadable debit cards in addition to the SNAP EBT cards (ie: food stamps, for us old-schoolers). The way things are set up, these kids get a free breakfast, a free lunch, free after-school care disguised as "activities" complete with free afternoon snack, half these programs toss them a free dinner, and this is in addition to the heating assistance, free Obama cell phones, Section 8 housing, Medicaid...and you have touchy-feely libs trying to say free WiFi and internet is a human right so look for that next....and now it's free summer grub too....

Why even bother to buy your kids food? The government will feed them and free your money up for lottery tickets.

Question: where in the bleedin' hell  is the food stamp money going if it isn't getting any food for the kids? I guess the parents are eating all the extra. I know that non-System families don't get extra money from their employers to buy specific food for the kids. It's part & parcel of the money we have & the family food budget. So it should be with the EBT and welfare; the American taxpayer is in essence your employer so why should we give you free food money and then EXTRA money for the kids to eat off of? I know steaks and crab legs are expensive, but damn...

Perhaps if the Leech Class wasn't using their benefits to buy junk food at the 7-11 and free school money to feed the kids while they use their welfare money to buy Bud Light Lime-a-Rita, blunts and weed, and iPhone 5's in addition to the free ObeezyPhone,...oh what the hell am I saying? It'll never happen.

I can hear my detractors right now screaming at my vile, evil, racist depictions of the poor downtrodden masses that White Corporate Amerikkka keeps down. However, I have seen with mine very own eyes the wanton abuse of the system.

I had to wait for the $45,000 Buick Enclave to disgorge its cache of Leeches to get in line so I could get the full picture. I stayed about ten minutes and the line swelled to over a hundred deep. Half of them were talking on the cell phones they already owned as they waited to get a free phone. Interesting side note: several people were of course wearing Obama shirts, but also spotted were several shirts from the last Census. The government was giving away tons of free Census swag to get folks to participate, and I'm sure it came with promises of more free loot for being held down by The Man.

Sssshhhhh....hear that? Hear that Gigantic Sucking Sound? I do.

It's the New Suck for the Second Term of His Emptyness, Lord Obama the Immaculate (Blessed Be His Name), whereby the Leech Class of benefit scroungers hold open their mouths like baby chicks waiting to gobble down the regurgitated welfare of the beaten down American bald eagle. From the cradle to the grave, Uncle Sugar will feed you, shelter you, clothe you, and give you free phones. Welcome to the Welfare States of America.

America: Land of the Free Phone

You'll recall that back in March I highlighted the mentality of the Leech Class in their own words, and that a few days earlier I had broken down the entire Leech Class system of milking the taxpayers for everything under the sun from my own vantage point as an EYEWITNESS to the shenanigans & chicanery. And right before the election I showed you a review of the Leech Class in their own words once again, expecting the Feral Gubmint to pay for all their stash.

Well, in case you needed some more reminders of how people bilk the system, look no further.

The above pictures, friends, were taken in a local gas station/convenience store by me. They show several 2.5 gallon jugs with a pre-mixed flavor powder inside. They weren't selling too well until one of the workers made a sign letting the local Leech Class know they could pay the ten bucks' cost for it on their EBT cards. In three days they sold the rest. Of note is the fact that the bright green one is for making margaritas. Yes, kids, all you have to do is sell some of your EBT money for cash (more on that later) to buy you some tequila and you have two and a half gallons of premium margaritas on tap for your next party, paid for by the taxpayers of the US of A. Of course, the tequila is optional; you could just have a sour lime drink for the kids, so it's EBT approved. There's a loop hole for everything, including margarita mix.

I mentioned the selling of EBT for cash. Say somebody has $100 on their card but needs cash now for sundry items like a hairdo, a new iPhone to supplement the free Obama phone they use to conduct illegal business or, of course, weed. They'll find someone who needs some groceries and sell them that hundred bucks of EBT for $75 cash and then either go buy the groceries with that person or just simply hand that person their card since seldom does anyone ever bother to match the name of the cardholder with a photo ID...that'd be racist.

Now, I know the clerks at this store, and one of them provided me with a plethora of valuable intel as to how the scams work. Like I've said before, the Leech Class will go into a store with a retinue of kids and buy an armload of junk food and pay for it on their EBT card, and the receipts will show the balance remaining on the card. That leaves them their own cash left over from their welfare or unemployment checks to buy lottery tickets, extra minutes for their cell phones, cigarillos to pack full of weed, Newport 100s, and 22-ounce Icehouse cans. Again, I have watched this happen with my own eyes. I am NOT making up the list of necessary Leech items out of thin air. These are the bulk of all purchases at this store, not gasoline.

Lo, and behold, Taxpayer, your money hard at work. The top receipt shows the purchase of three 20-ounce Pepsi products, a Lipton Brisk Tea half & half tea & lemonade, an almond Snickers, a bag of sunflower seeds, a bag of Blow Pops, a shortbread cookie pack, a Hershey Cookies & Creme bar, a miscellaneous loose candy piece, and a Jolly Rancher item. Total purchase of junk food: $11.83, on your dime. The bottom receipt shows the remaining EBT balance of......$914.90. Almost a thousand dollars in groceries available. Now, here I am clipping coupons and buying off-brand stuff trying to scrimp & save every dime on my grocery bill trying like hell to make it and there's a grand's worth of vittles for free, waiting to buy more junk food and steaks and sugar-frosted cereal nuggets and cases of Mountain Dew and energy drinks.

Energy drinks? Oh, yes, my friends. That same store has certain energy drinks, like Red Bull, classified as food items in their register codes so then those items are EBT approved. Need a quick pick me up after a night of pounding cans of Budweiser Lime-a-Rita and smoking blunts packed with quality Sticky Icky? The taxpayer shall provide. Go get a 20-ounce Red Bull for $4.99. Hell, get two. Why not? It's free.

I myself am a fan of caffeinated carbonation and have tried dozens of varieties, and found a new one last weekend that I'd never tried before. It was called Neuro Fuel Max, and promised I'd basically rule the universe after imbibing a can of this magical elixir. The side of the can extolled the virtues of the product, making sure to use the word "may", as in "may increase" or "may enhance", as a disclaimer against being sued when the drinker is just as stupid as they were before they opened the can, just $1.59 broker...or were they? They were, unless they paid for it on EBT because the can itself actually says that it's EBT approved. I can't make this stuff up, ya'll. Truth is ALWAYS stranger than fiction.

This is what we've created, the Welfare States of America. The Welfare Reform Act of 1996 (Well, actually  The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996) was supposed to limit the amount of time someone could be on The System and prevent generational career welfare, by which I mean people spending a lifetime on the government tit and raising kids on the tit and those kids go on the tit at 18 and continue it through the next generation. Welfare isn't a career move, America. But all the Welfare Reform Act did was make people become more creative in their measures, as in moving state to state when their benefits ran out. When I was in Maine people would get 2 years of bennies in Massachusetts or another New England state and then claim there were no job opportunities and the state would PAY TO MOVE THEM to another state, where they'd do the same thing all over again, bouncing state to state.

Now the current administration is just reverting back to the Carter days of generational career welfare and the Leech Class Handout Mentality. And it's just gonna get worse. 

In Their Own Words: The Leech Class

This morning, long about 3:15 AM Eastern or so, I was on a quiet dark country road on my way to work. I was listening to RedEye Radio, what used to be called the Midnight Trucking Radio Network, since I just can't listen to all the UFO and Tinfoil Hat stuff on Coast to Coast AM. Anyway, I digress...

The topic of conversation turned to their audio of a clip culled from this weekend's episode of HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher". In general I have a low opinion of Maher, an unfunny liberal mouthpiece hack, and I was prepared to loathe his guest by name alone: Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of Nancy Pelosi. Yeah, guilt by association, and the rotted crabapple didn't fall far from the tree.

It seems in last week's episode, unwatched by me because A) I don't have HBO and B) I would sooner poke myself in the eye with a scalding french fry, Miz Pelosi in the role of roving correspondent, was in rural Mississippi for the state's Republican Primary and she interviewed only the most ass-backwards stereotypes she could fin in an attempt to belittle Southerners as a whole and Southern Republicans in particular. Well, this week, in some vague attempt to be fair & balanced, she went to the welfare office across from her apartment building in New York City and began interviewing the Leech Class vultures fleecing you and me for free stash.

Stash? Yeah...remember THIS crap?



Well, it just gets better...and you'll recall how just a week or so ago I was educating ya'll on the Leech Class and how they operate? Yeah, well, here it is in all its glory. I had to search a bit to find a good copy to embed.




Yeah...I thought my effing head was gonna explode. The video interviews were bad enough, but I finally had to turn it off when they started to compare defense spending to welfare.

It's gotten to be where I hate shopping on the first Friday of the month. Unfortunately, the wife & I generally do our weekly grocery run on Friday nights, grab a bite on the way home, & eat while we catch up on stuff we recorded on the DVR during the week & had no time to watch. We have no time to watch the shows live because we're working our asses off to provide not only for ourselves but also to support the reason I hate shopping on the first Friday of the month....

That's the big shopping day after all the welfare checks & food stamps are in and the vultures descend upon the stores.

Half the time my local store is half empty of things I'm looking for by the time I get there; the vultures know when feeding time is & swarm the place before I arrive. The stores allegedly stock up for the Welfare Shopping Sprees but like locusts, they get there & empty out the store before us worker bees can get there for the scraps.

Look; I'm not a total ogre. Some people really do need the help. I have no problems with the folks who are on The System for a temporary helping hand. However, I cannot abide by the Leech Class who views welfare as a career move. I'm against the people in front of me in line at the checkout loaded down with steaks and cases of Coke and packs of crab legs and $5 boxes of Sugar Frosted Everything paid for with food stamps, while I'm buying off brands and clipping coupons to save three bucks on my total bill so I can almost buy a gallon of gas for my tank so I can go to my job and support the Leech Class...a perpetual cycle.

Someone I know who is a very reliable source (but wishes to remain anonymous) is a manager at a local convenience store where EBT/SNAP/Food Stamp cards are accepted. The amount of infuriating crap she sees on a regular basis is astounding, and I have been there to witness some of it as well. Things like Leeches coming in and loading the counter down with bag after bag of chips and bottles of soda for their kids (I'm talking like 25 bucks of stuff) and paying for it with the EBT card, and then using cash for their Leech Trifecta: lottery tickets, packs of Newports, and 22-ounce Icehouse beers.

Different states allow different things to be purchased on EBT, and one of the oddball things that South Carolina seems to allow is Red Bull. Most energy drinks in this store are not allowable, but there is either a glitch in their system or the SKU code for Red Bull really is allowed. So yeah, you can go load up on Twinkies, a bag of Doritos and a big ole' can of Red Bull on the taxpayer's dime. The receipt generated by the EBT swipe machine says how much the user (who doesn't have to show ID so you have no way to prove whose card it really is, and these Leeches share their cards with friends, family, and fellow rabble) still has left on the card....some receipts left behind show over 350 dollars routinely well into the month. One receipt had over NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS on it, over twice what my wife and I spend on groceries with our budget.

By now you've probably seen the infamous receipt on the web from Angeli's Country Market up in Menominee in the Islamic Republic of Michiganistan. If not, the receipt found in the parking lot lists an ungodly amount of goodies, all paid for with the Michigan version of an EBT card, called a Bridge Card. What was purchased? Five cases of Diet Mountain Dew, eight lobster tails, and a pair of Porterhouse steaks. In all, $141.78 in food stamp money. Just to be safe, I verified the veracity of this item at UrbanLegends.com, and yeah, it happened. What's worse, upon further investigation it turns out the buyer didn't just buy this shit for a big dinner, but instead SOLD the items for a profit to other people.

We've turned Entitlements into a cottage industry.

Retailers are knocking themselves over to become authorized EBT spots. The most popular sign in retail windows now is "WE ACCEPT EBT". One of our local knockoff Dollar Store-type places just put up a giant 8 foot tall by about 12 foot long EBT/SNAP sign in the front window, with stores now competing for food stamp business.

Even pizza joints are cashing in. The chain Papa Murphy's was the first I'd heard of specializing in "take & bake" pizza, where they prepare your pizza but do not bake it, and you take it home & toss it in the oven. Since it is "home made" and not prepared food, it qualifies for EBT. And now in Obamerica, where folks are too broke to buy pizzas, even my local corner shop is offering Take & Bake EBT specials to make up for lost revenues.

So many upscale houses in suburban subdivisions were going unrented & empty that it's now very common for these houses to be turned into Section 8 housing, with the Section 8 rent checks going directly to the landlords instead of going to the Leeches who would often just piss away the money and not pay the rent. So it's a win-win for the landlords; their house gets rented out instead of lying fallow, and they get their money directly from Uncle Sucker, and if the Leeches mess up the house, they bill Uncle.

I keep hearing ads on the radio for free cell phone service for folks on welfare. You get a phone & 250 free minutes. In order to qualify you gotta be on The System. My wife & I drop over a hundred sixty bucks a month on our phones and we still have minutes left over from our shared 550.


I already told ya'll a few months back about the chick in the local Dollar Tree store who kept staring at me when I popped in to get a box of Cream of Wheat (hey, it's The South; they eat grits here, not Cream of Wheat, so I have to search all over for it) and then held up the line with her whiny kids as she paid with her EBT card, and kept on giving me the stink-eye as she strapped them into a $45,000 BMW sport ute & drove away.

The rate of fraud in this Entitlement Society is outrageous. It's an entire underground second economy. Folks collect illicit benefits and sell them or trade them for profit or for sex or for drugs. Years ago in Maine I worked for awhile in a special social services program helping folks who were on The System. In Maine, in order to get your TANF benefits, they made you get some sort of job to supplement the assistance. My program helped them to get reliable inexpensive used cars via a low-interest $5000 loan through a national bank. Most of the folks I helped were decent folks who needed honest help, and most got off the system within a few months. But some were just Leeches. I figured out certain things real fast: many of these folks had a Post Office box first of all. That's so their caseworker couldn't ask the mailman if someone else was living at their Section 8 townhouse and sharing the bills, like a live-in boyfriend. In general they had big screen TVs, PC's and Playstations from RentaCenter, premium cable packages and internet. At the time, I only had a laptop because work issued me one, and I had no cable at my place. Many of them were living better than I was and I was there to help them.....and in some of the remote fishing/lobstering towns I went to, many of the folks crying poor had new pickups & snowmobiles & 4-wheelers in the yards, because they worked under the table for cash tax free on fishing boats with no way to trace it.


The time I spent in that job was during the Clinton years, the years the Dems claim were all Milk & Honey & economic prosperity. They claim that EvilBoosh (tm) cocked it all up all on his lonesome. So, pray tell, why is that The FoodStampPresident, The Obamessiah Himself (Blessed Be His Name) has seen the use of assistance & food stamps rise exponentially during his reign? Because Dems love to keep the Masses suckling the teat of the Feral Gubmint. They get to be the kind & benevolent providers and the Leech Class laps it up and keeps voting Donkey.

Some states want to start making their assistance recipients receive drug tests in order to get their benefits. The Left and the Leech Class cry bloody murder over it. They also bitch & moan when states start calling for a stop to benefit debit cards cards being used at casinos, strip clubs, liquor stores and bingo halls. WHAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Yeah. It happens. Happens in such Liberal bastions as Colorado and of course, the Democratic People's Republic of California. It's also been documented in New Jersey and North Carolina.


Boy, the Left really hates when you refer to the Dear Leader as The Food Stamp President. They tried to make Newt look like a monster for pointing out the TRUTH. When damn near a quarter of your population is on some sort of assistance, from food stamps to welfare to Medicaid to free heating assistance to free cell phones to free school lunch to....hey, wait a second....I damn near forgot the Free Lunch deal. In many places the Left has kids getting free breakfast, free lunch, free after school care with a snack, free summer lunch, and are trying to get free dinners in there too because they seemingly only get fed by the government, despite the frikkin' food stamps their parents are receiving. Or are the parents only buying THEMSELVES steaks & lobsters and letting the kids eat at school? Nothing would surprise me anymore.



And then there's THIS idiot. Amanda Clayton wins a MILLION dollars in the Michiganistan lottery....lottery being played while she's on assistance, mind you, and after Uncle Sucker takes his graft off the top of the already slashed lump sum payment, she's left with half. Still, 500 large is better than pocket lint.... and she was STILL collecting food stamps, after buying a new car and a new house. No one cut her off nor did she offer up the windfall, and when confronted by reporters simply stated she thought someone would cut her off but then figured it was okay since she had no income but had bills to pay because she had two houses.

Remember this in November, people. This country is circling the drain because of Leeches and Donkeys and people who expected Obama to pay their mortgages and give them free gas for their cars.....and gas is now twice as expensive as it was when this assclown stole the country from us. Hope? Change? EPIC FAIL.

Minimum Wage:

Pretty pointless if you ask me. I mean I think it should exist, but people are always bitching about how it should be raised because the cost of living has gone up. The cost of living goes up when the minimum wage goes up. Inflation 101. Check this out; if you raise the minimum wage, the companies you buy from will have to increase the wage of their workers and to further negate the loss of capital and maintain a profitable status, if that. So you will now make 9 dollars an hour, and your milk that was $2.75 a gallon, is now $3.25 a gallon.. You are in the same situation as before.

This is where outsourcing plays a huge role in the US economy. It no longer becomes feasible to do business within the borders of our own country. We ship the jobs to China, India, Bangladesh, etc. Taxing the companies (whether it is small business, or big corporations) will only give them less money to pay the people they need to manufacture their goods in this country.

The auto industry is a decent example of this, although not with taxes. The unions continued to demand higher wages and the companies could not afford to do so. They are faced with 3 options. 1) Lay off people to open up captial. 2) Raise the price of the cars, which would only infuriate the population and possible lead to more union wage raise demands. 3) Outsource, cut back production, or as we've seen this past decade... bailouts.

The taxes would have the same effect on the things we need because the simple fact is there is gonna be less money available to produce the goods/pay wages. They will raise the price and we will still be shit out of luck.

Let's face it; what's better than having your money make money right? Well, if you are taxing the wealthy people in this country for being successful, why would you wanna be successful? The people with money in this country are the ones who invest in this country. They are the ones who lend to business ventures. They are the ones who employ our middle and lower class asses. But we want to punish them by taxing them more? So they can't afford to pay us? Then the entire population has no money??? What gives??

Introducing a flat tax seems to be a great idea. I know Herman Cain proposed a 9% income tax and a 9% sales tax. Completely transparent. Applies to everyone. For mathematics sake, lets just say the flat tax is 10%... If I make 100k a year, I pay 10k in taxes. If you make 25k a year, you pay 2500 in taxes. Its fair. It's simple. The rich end up paying more in the end, how everyone wants it to be anyways.

Recently I cancelled my credit card. My interest rates prior to Obama's "helping hand" and "fighting in the corner of the people" when it comes to credit cards was 11.4%... Not bad. I was 19 when I got it; I'm 21 now. I'm a young guy. I have pretty damn good credit, and I can just expect it to be around there. Now, after Obama's legislation? Interest rate was 27.3%. 100 dollars a month was barely making a dent in it because the few times I would use it per month, the 27 bucks in interest fees, 30 dollar minimum payment.. It was just terrible.

Moral of the story, we need to stop biting the hand that feeds. If we continue to outrageously push for legislation that increases the taxes on the wealthy and businesses, we will find ourselves in a vicious circle of poverty very fast. What we need to do is get rid of all the bullshit social programs and encourage ADVANCEMENT, not COMPLACENCY! Generational welfare, people living off of unemployment for months/years and not making the effort to get employed... those are the people who are draining our tax dollars. And the worst part about it is they are okay with what they are doing. It's just dead wrong.

But I'm 21 and I haven't gone to college yet. What the flying fuck do I know?

Let’s see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress lies to us it’s just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're a racist and if a black dislikes whites, it's their 1st Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word GOD in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but it’s wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don't burn books in AMERICA, we now rewrite them; we got rid of the Communist and Socialist threat by renaming them Progressives; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against President Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burned an AMERICAN flag or George Bush in effigy it was your 1st Amendment right.

You can have pornography on TV or the Internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in AMERICA and they are now called sick people; we can use a human fetus for medical research, but it's wrong to use an animal.

We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who don't want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when is supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the Land of Opportunity is now the Land of Hand Outs; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf oil spill is that neither President did anything to help.

And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes; and tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their reelection campaign. What has happened to the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave?

Massive unemployment, union corruption, riddled with Liberal Democrats, and infested with the largest Muslim population in North America, a population burgeoning with radical Islamists and home-grown terrorists. Michigan has become America's England; a former powerhouse and industrial giant hit with industrial shutdowns and liberal socialism screaming for handouts and bigger government, and letting their Islamic minority take over by fiat.
